A Couple Quick Kubrow Questions...

I have my first Kubrow hatched, and it will be out of the incubator tomorrow. I know you have to let it mature (or at least you used to), and then I need to do the mission to get it a collar before I can really use it. My questions are: do I need to use DNA stabilizers between now and the time I finish the collar mission? and can I put my Kubrow in stasis at anytime once it comes out of the incubator?

 

I play everyday, if that makes a difference. I don't have a spare $75000 to spend n the next few days, and am currently happy with my Carrier sentinel. I only want to finish the Kubrow quest because I am really sick of the constant pop up reminder in game.

You need DNA stabilizers to keep your kubrow healthy. It loses health every day, I believe it's 10% per day. To answer your first question, you only need it after it starts losing health, which is after the incubating process. I'm not sure if you need it before or after the collar mission; I finished that mission as soon as my kubrow finished incubating, on the same 1 hour period, so I never got to find out.

 

As for your second question, the answer is yes. If not, then definitely after the collar mission. If you're satisfied with your sentinel, then, by all means, keep your doggy in stasis.

Thanks Eggy - it just hatched, I can't tell if it is mature or not, but gonna' try the collar mission, and then put it in stasis... it hard to get accurate info on this stuff because of all the updates (which is a good thing itself, it just makes guides and old topics unreliable)...
