HollowDrifter
Mirage harlequin helmet looks like an owl in a jesters hat to me. Edited October 11, 2014 by DementedSheep525
darthdart
Oberon is not called goat because he looks like a goat. GOAT = GREATEST OF ALL TIME It's okay, simple mistake.
TankHunter678
Honestly to me he always looked like a tree when you could not see his feet. Then he looks like a Satyr. Nothing like a Paladin. We need a REAL paladin frame.
Phobesse
Well I agree he looks more like a stag, but let's quote the wikia. Oryx refers to a genus of four antelope species, which the helmet resembles. Markhor is species of wild goat that has distinctive, corkscrew-like horns. So yeah,it's pretty clear that the concept is based more on goats. But you know what ? He is majestic as hell,no matter what mammal he is based on. It's just a matter of tastes after all,but I find him the most attractive male warframe of all. Also,he can be colored in many ways and can result either very fantasy-like and even very demon-looking. Oberon is fabulous, point blank and period. Aroran_Svitskna
He's a satyr. Also, Oryx is a type of antelope, while Markhor is a type of mountain goat. YES GOAT FRAME CONFIRMED

Reidmaster
Goats have horns... Stag have antlers... Oberon has antlers... Therefore Oberon is a stag, not a goat. RedEyedRaven
Oberon is visually based on some interpretations of Oberon from Shakespeare's Midsummernights Dream. Oberon is the king of faeries, and in some interpretations the faeries have animal heads and human bodies. Oberon is indeed often visualized as a human with a deer's or stag's head. Flamingauss
Seriously, his main helm is a Deer a Buck. Second season helm, Impala. third season is some weird Chinese/Japanese Symbolism. Mirage's Harlequin helm is based of a jester. Why in the world would you name something Harlequin and base it off a Ram or Goat? Have you never seen a jesters hat before? Arlayn
He does have short legs, and that is goat body structure. Oberon has always been a Deer/stag. He has the antlers, he has the feet, he came out in December, and when you give him a Christmas look well...You get St. Oberon! Yes he is coming this year too, to bring wonderful gifts!
