Blacked-Out Screen

I've read through the forums, and haven't seen this.

 

Every time I get on my screen goes completely black. Normally, patience says to wait for the game to load, but after 10 minutes I couldn't wait. It usually takes 30 seconds tops. I either had to sign out of my computer, or use ctrl+alt+del to bring up the task manager, which pops up my navigation bar when I pan over it so I could close Warframe. I can hear the login screen's music in the back ground, and when I move my mouse it makes that ticking sound like I hovered over a button. I've never had this happen to me before.

Update:

I play this through steam, so I went and verified its files. Some were unresponsive or something, so Steam is reacquiring them. We'll see if it fixes my problem.

never update your files through steam...when you do, it throws warframe off and when you start warframe the files will update again

Warframe's still frozen. I was able to see the loading screen this time though.

 

Any ideas on what I can do?

like Magicfingers said, re dl the game via steam, and let the game make his update. verifying data from steam will mess up your game, just dont. i had black screen issue when my second screen was pluged, i had to play bordless windowed.
