(PSN)IMainTheMains
There is so many times that I've seen people post on xb1 or pc forums where I would be able to help them but can't, is it just me that hates this?
Casardis
I don't "hate" this but it can annoy me a little sometimes. There were a few times that I went ahead and PM'ed the user to help them because no one was responding in their topic (early days of PS4 Forums section especially). [DE]Saske
That is a recent topics bug, you can post in most sections, but for excaple why should a pc play answer to ps4 bugs post.
BrotherIcarus
It is annoying but at the end of the day we normally wouldn't even have to post there as they are platform specific bug and feedback forums.

But for example if I see an xb1 user ask what's in an update I would like to give them link to the pc update notes since they are generally the same
Rydian
I don't "hate" this but it can annoy me a little sometimes. There were a few times that I went ahead and PM'ed the user to help them because no one was responding in their topic (early days of PS4 Forums section especially). I've done that as well because it was a simple Warframe issue nobody was responding to. That is a recent topics bug, you can post in most sections, but for excaple why should a pc play answer to ps4 bugs post. Sometimes people think something's a bug when it's not. The most common example being when people try to build dual pistols and the game won't let them because those are the only pistols they have. That applies on all systems, but if somebody posts it in the XB1 forum thinking it's an XB1 bug, only XB1 players can correct them... but there's a much smaller number of informed XB1 players than PC players due to the relative age of the game on the systems. Haldos
The only sections that are sequestered are the Feedback, Bug, and I believe the Trading/Recruitment sections. Players helping players, for instance, is co-mingled and open for anyone of any platform to come together and share insight to help one another. The main reason is to ensure that only information that is applicable to that specific platform is not being muddled by information from another source. Different builds may incur different issues and being able to separate those issues and fixes help keep things organized and focused. An issue for a console, may not be the same for a PC user and this helps keep that on point, both for users looking for answers, as well as developers looking for feedback. Obviously, there are some downsides, but generally, I think it's better this way. If you still feel as though your information would be helpful, perhaps sending that individual a PM would aid in that.

Sometimes on bugs though people say something which isn't really a bug, I do send pm's sometimes but effort ... I'm lazy as well sometimes lol
RoboDoge
I suspect its to prevent "PCMasterRace" and "ConsolePeasants" trolls from posting in XB1 and PS4 subforum.
(PSN)SancticuS
It is quite annoying at times especially as the moderators seem to have a "moving of post" fetish. I have had my topics moved to sections I could no longer reply to (1) and several times been part of a discussion that I suddenly could not partake in anymore. Also the general moving of a topic equals the death of that thread as well. (2) Furthermore we are all part of the same builds whether we are on PS4, XB1, PC. It is all a matter of how far along you are in the current patch cycle. So quite often I find myself unable to answer questions that have the exact same solution/answer just because you are only allowed to enlighten those of the same version. It would also be nice to benefit from other users as they most likely have encountered the same bug / question you have.
