That was an extremely fun tactical alert for me

Ran it with Loki ;Dragon Nikana /tranquil cleave  and Latron wraith rank 20. No sentinel.

If only I had the blind justice stance

*Gnnnnnh* I 've never felft so satisfied slashing grineer left and right

more tactical alerts please :)

I do like the tactical alerts because they are an objective to complete in a game that benefits from having an objective to complete.

so it gives us something else to do? which is pretty much the same as usual ? I don't get your sentence X)

I ran it as Loki as well.
On the future, I'd like it if there were some sort of consequence to losing a extractor thingy. I just ran around solo, invis modded Loke and Dragon Nikana, while I hoarded energy cells for the scanner, and just left the extractors to die.

Also the Desert Skates were a nice touch, but they shoud have been more... Alive... More roaming around, and not just popping up to shoot at the extractor. They seemed like a rushed concept, hand only seemed to be a threat to me, when I caught a stray projectile from them, because I got careless.

Also, as usual with the events, it seemed a bit too easy.
I woke up, put on my Loki, and then ran around for an hour while drinking coffe with my off-hand, and then I had 2.000 points.

There were so many mobs that they stood around doing nothing from time to time when they were funneled down a small corrosion

Ohh yeah, that too. I call it The Grinner Wall of Death!

A quick slidy-spinny attack, and you've cut down 10 enemies.

The skates 3 or 4 shotting you at full shields due to bleed proc is a nice touch too, always like dying from 4 basic attacks after about 10 seconds of bleeding to death, much fun, such wow, many challenge!

/sarcasm

Outside too many @(*()$ skates with like 75% proc chance, was fun.

Chaos has no effect on skates, which are by far the most dangerous enemy in this mission.

Chaos takes care of the Grineer,  Absorb deals with the Skates, very very well.  Nyx is also much easier to get under the conclave cap that many other frames, it was really easy to clear the event.

I started calculating if it would take 3 or 4 bullets from boltor, but these are only 28lvl, so it would take only 4 bullets from braton.

700 conclave obviously wasnt good enough to make these any difficult.

DE dont make same mistake for 3rd time, limiting conclave is pointless.

Overall, I'd have to say I liked the Alert, but I had a ton of trouble with it that I want to bring up so it can be taken into consideration for the future.

I had to run the event several times in order to get credit. The first time, my internet connection had a hiccup when we were most of the way there, and of course in this game I get literally nothing from a disconnect, even when it's beyond my control. The second time, I was the only one in the group who didn't arbitrarily glue themselves to the Scanner. After a long grind, they finally decided to leave at an early Cryotic number acting like it was some awesome milestone and at the rate we were moving, I wasn't about the argue.

I only ended up getting credit after an extremely long mission where, again, one person was stubbornly convinced that they needed to guard the Scanner with their life. We lost one person early on, so for a good chunk of it, it was just me activating scanners and running off, getting 30-70 Cryotic at a time.

What drove me nuts is that I normally hate Hellions. I was worried that this mission wouldn't be fun at all. The joke was on me, because the Hellions were fun to fight and practically a joke (despite the way I lowered my Conclave Rating; I think that's an awkward, terrible balancing system, by the way, at least Operation Gatecrash didn't force me to tweak something that's awkward and unintuitive myself). The Skates, however, were ridiculous. A million would pop up after the Extractor landed, and would tear the thing to pieces within seconds. Nothing I did to them seemed to matter. It didn't help that I seemed to be the only one who noticed that they were the biggest threat (one group I had were standing next to them and didn't seem to notice the Extractor exploding behind them as they lazily fought off the weak Grineer). In the final run I did, I discovered that abandoning the Extractor often caused it to last longer. I don't know if it's that the Extractor would get caught in crossfire meant for me, but I ended up getting over 100 Cryotic once on an Extractor I didn't defend, while my other two squadmates got 40-something on one they were camping.

Absorb does nothing to skates, had it charged to over 9k and it did not kill even one of them unless they were lifted out of the sand, I'm a Nyx/Zephyr player almost exclusively and been playing Nyx since before it was cool, she's nice, Frost is still the king of this one.

I thought the event was fun, only ran it once with me as zephyr and a random team using nekros, saryn, and ember. Helped that we were all working as a team with me using turbulence and taking one hallway and reviving as needed while the ember nuked the skates and the saryn and nekros worked on the other hallway/enemies.

Max Power Strength Thundermirage absolutely decimates this alert. A second of prism takes care of the first wave of skates. The large crowds of hellions fall to my HoM shred / thunderbolt attica. Eclipse + Nukor makes funny work of long corridors of hellions from the door.

Event was easy and fun.

I used Vauban r15 and tossed out my secondary had the Fluff (Flux) rifle r21 and decent r30 Orthos P (with some reduced mods).

I admit I was supprised by skate armies once after that it was rather nice, bastille and that vortex =) (only skills that fit into that Vauban).

Just the point limit was low 3k might have been more fun.

I liked the alert as well, just would want a small idea implemented in the future, which would be that the spawning is controlled. It happened often to me that i cleared an area, got into cover to shoot the next wall of grineer, when a S#&$load of skates appeared behind me again.

Otherwise then that its an incredibly awesome alert!
