Cutting enemies in half, not only just horizontally?

Hello! This is my first forum post here, so I don't know if it is in the right section.

I am enjoying this game so far, but when ever my guy cuts a enemy vertically in half to kill them, they cut horizontally in half. I'm not so sure how hard modelling is, but I believe that it would make the game feel that much better when little details like cutting a enemy in half vertically, will chop him in half vertically instead of horizontally.
