own4gemaster
just like POE or D3, tiered (voids) would be a never ending end game accessible to all players. is there any plans/thoughts about this? i know for a fact that this alone would keep me playing for a long time. 011100110110000101101101
The Voids ARE tiered. I think you need to elaborate some more.
MaverickZero
Considering we don't have unlimited RNG-generated loot I'd say this wouldn't work.
Phatose
Oh good god. The class balance in D3 already causes issues in their tiered rifts. Here? Can you just imagine?
direcyphre
Loot also isn't randomized or leveled like other RPGs listed. Tiers already exist for the void and other locations (albeit, not all locations list what tier they classify as).
Kruglov
Nah, man, nah. Endgame in D3, Poe, and Torchlight functions because every mission is relatively different and usually very sprawling. For the most part, Warframe missions are short, blunt, and outside of the boss battles dont have much in the way of 'instanced' events, designs, enemies, or loot. Outside of the warframes themselves, everything bosses drop can be gained from common enemies. Adding in tiers with say an instadeath hardcore mode or even a 'make your own multiplayer map' function WOULD work in a game like this but nobody would really use them because there'd be little purpose in playing. own4gemaster
The Voids ARE tiered. I think you need to elaborate some more. infinite tiered (with a "ladder") as in lets say if you can survive 20mins in tier 4, you unlock tier 5, 20mins in tier 5 unlocks tier 6 etc etc Considering we don't have unlimited RNG-generated loot I'd say this wouldn't work. no loots in those, only competition then Edited October 16, 2014 by own4gemaster

You either make some rewards extremely difficult to obtain or make so many tiers which are very close in difficulty which just makes life difficult. Consider all the key farming and recruiting chat. vaugahn
Why don't we just improve the tiered voids we have already instead of adding new tiers for no reason? We have 4 tiers, but all of them are the same. Have it generate more challenging maps with more difficult enemy combinations the deeper you get. MaverickZero
theres a ladder, how is it pointless? thats like saying olympics are pointless You get a reward for that. If you don't rank in the top you at least get noticed and most likely be shown on TV's around the world. Video Games and PvE ones especially don't share that. taiiat
theres a ladder, how is it pointless? thats like saying olympics are pointless just competing doesn't do it for most people. competing against each other from time to time, but largely looking for something more than that. looking for depth. and the Olympics does have awards. and publicity. and endorsements. and blah blah. big things as goals. grillv20
just competing doesn't do it for most people. competing against each other from time to time, but largely looking for something more than that. looking for depth. and the Olympics does have awards. and publicity. and endorsements. and blah blah. big things as goals. The olympics are highly regulated and its almost impossible to cheat, that being said all forms of "leader boards" are essentially pointless when you're playing with online games where cheaters run rampant. Especially in such a broken game where in just about every single event ever made there is a gigantic exploit somebody is abusing. I do like the idea of leader boards in general but in a game where there is literally no sort of moderation of what the players are doing there would be no point. If they held any kind of event whether it be PVP or PVE I would want it to be handled like how CS:GO handles their community of professional players. Players could report other players for hacking or whatever, then it would be handed off to the community for review. Players would review game sessions to see how the player or players were performing and they would be able to see if those people were hacking or not. Obviously the players being judged wouldn't have their names visible for fear of some sort of favoritism or just them having a bad reputation in general, thus skewing the end result of the person being banned. Many players would review these and pass judgment. If enough players votes "yes ban this guy" then it would go on to the developers for final review and then the ban would be administered. Something like this would go a long way into showing just how certain clans are doing whatever they're doing and if they're indeed doing it in a legitimate fashion. It doesn't just have to be aim bots or whatever your standard shooter thing is. It could literally be anything else that could be exploited. It would be great watching some Dark Sectors pvp down the road and watching matches if it ever evolved into something really complex and interesting. Semshol
No, this suggestion is bad and you should feel bad. DE will develop their own end-game, input is not required.
