Syndicates + Quests = Win

I played a few games with faction mechanic, like fallout NV and Kingdoms of Amalur. In Amalur, no factions are enemies of other, meaning you can play for all of them. Good for xp, but not very immersive. Proxy wars may lure me back to Warframe after all.

Apples and oranges, mate. What if the quests had a twist, against an opposing syndicate and it's players? Imagine swooping in and trying to take down a designated player that is from the enemy faction. This being a multyplayer game can execute some cool ideas that have impact on others, not only you. Managed right, this could be pretty epic.

From what I've seen of the PvP in this game, you generally want to limit PvP to areas and methods that exist for that purpose as much as possible.  The bast majority of players would end up very, very unhappy if PvP is a part of an otherwise PvE centric quest line.

That would be pvp, and I doubt they'd force players to pvp in such a way for any syndicate.
