It's like knowing the spoilers in a manga you haven't read, the spoilers DE gave us actually spoils us before we play it. By the time we're playing Archwing, there will be only little surprise left for us. But you know that's the hype of U15? Syndicates. Do you guys find it strange how Syndicates are more hyped than Archwing is, right now? Archwing was a big reveal, a VERY big reveal, yet it is overshadowed badly by Syndicates today. That is because that DE had revealed Syndicates sooner into U15, revealing just the surface of it. We don't know what's inside Syndicates, that's we thrive for it, that's why we want to explore it. This is just a suggestion if DE ever see this: If you're going to build a hype, please don't reveal the spoiling inside. It's like someone telling you the spoilers of a movie before you watched it. So this one didn't add anything new to the arch wings other than they're coming next week, but yeah the syndicates is another big thing that's coming up. That is why it is more hyped right now, because it is one of the three major "end game" elements to be implemented. Apparently there's some big stuff coming in U15 on that as well, they've been shady about it, but I suspect it's going to be big since Sheldon, Geoff and Steve didn't wanna reveal too much, but said it would have a lot of it in U15. Even before the stuff they showed this passed Friday the hype had died down. If the Syndicate stuff was shown the same time as Archwing's 1st announcement, the hype for Syndicates would be just as low. That said, again, nothing has been spoiled for me. Sure they told us there would be two game modes for it but there might be more missions within those modes. We don't know what weapons we'll get. We don't know what enemies we'll fight. We've seen some Grineer but I imagine there will be more to their forces and at least Corpus if not Infested. We know there will be a quest to access Archwing but we don't yet know what we might learn from that. JUST NO. syndicates are the mane hype right now because a) weve been waiting longer for proxywars, npcs, and more quests for a long time. since before we knew about archwing. since like u ten. weve been hype on archwing more steadily with more knowledge about it. plus we are gonna get enemy specters and weapon or abiliry specific augmentation mods.. so yah.. of course its gonna be hypier. its still FRIGGIN NEW. Archwing is going to be an tacked on game mode, forgotten after it's release a few weeks in or so. Syndicates are basically rep grinds of the WoW sense circa WOLTK; people are only excited about them due to the lore behind them. But you know, damn if I'm not going to be excited the first few days. People only excited because of lore, nah im excited cause the lore and a few rewards you can get, lots of people will be like this. archwing I reckon will die down quickly no doubt. Tiqalicious Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Yeaaah, this has nothing to do with how early archwing was revealed and EVERYTHING to do with late game players finally being given some of the stuff that will keep their interest in the game. Most of them were already pretty meh about the archwing reveal the moment it happened because it would be yet another thing for them to blow through like in every update, but syndicates are the sort of thing they've been waiting a long time to sink their teeth into. I think people are getting really woked up over the details a bit much. It's both good and bad I suppose. On the one hand people are passionate about the game.
