Ever since we received the new mod UI, I don't think a feature such as this exists.

 

I do know, however, that there have been threads on bringing the installed icon back. Quite a few threads popped up after the release of the new mod UI a while back.

 

For now, if you're trying to install mods on weapons and sentinel weapons, I'd say just use trial and error. If the UI indicates that the mod is already installed on the sentinel's weapon, then use a copy, and vice versa.

Just one simple feature that they haven't added to the Mods UI yet: Show which items do the mod is installed when mouse over it.

Simple: yes. Helpfull: yes (atleast for me) but still nowhere to be found.

I dont know if i did understand the question correctly, but there is a small symbol above the current rank (looks like a hexagon nut), which indicades installed mods.
