Hey wanna hear a stupid, and I mean STUPID, fan theory I just came up with:

Because of the purple colorization and seemingly missing eyes - likely due to combat - I say this is Venk'ra Tel! After we beat her and Sprag during Gate Crash (resulting in Sprag's death - God I hope not...) she realized the futility of fighting the Tenno and, from that realization, spiraled into a moral self-analysis that led her to found the Steel Meridian!

The point I want to get at is that there are only two leaders within the Grineer hierarchy:

The Twin Queens.

They hold 100% of the power. Everyone else, male or female, is just a genetically loyal slave with varying degrees of autonomy and authority over the other genetic slaves. Vay Hek may be a Grineer bigshot, but only over the Grineer under him. He is not actually a Grineer leader in that sense; he has only the authority he is allowed by the Twin Queens.

They're quite sexist like that, dem Grineer.

Sprag and Venkra?

As much as I LOVE Sprag (who I will NEVER refer to as a "waifu" for the obvious neckbeard connotations it has), her and Venk'ra's actual standing was... difficult to ascertain. While it wouldn't be out of place to say they were commanders during the event, it also wouldn't be out of place to say they were simply elite soldiers deployed amongst the rest of the footmen. And, even then, they were still under the thumb of the orchistrator of the event: Councilor Vay Hek.

My first thought was "Meh, she has the same face as the other Grineer female units, what a lazy character design". Then I remember they're a race of clones.

I'm with the Grineer Steel Meridian, 100%. This just makes it a little bit cooler.

That thread title made me lol.

Too bad the steel meridian are my enemies.

SrslY... why can't the grineer and corpus just get along?

I don't understand this.

The meridian aren't aligned with the grineer anymore, neither is the sequence aligned with the corpus.

Yet the meridian and the sequence hate each other. :P

Hell yeah, Steel Meridian.

They genuinely seem the most balanced, in terms of ethics and goals, out of all of the factions. Also, they have the best looking symbol, in my opinion, and the coolest leader, also in my opinion.

She had the slightest hint of an Irish accent, I found that adorable.

Still, need to see more done by her ( and ALL Syndicate leaders) before I can say she's the coolest.

Her bar-room scratchy voice and her rough and tough brawler slang really work to create a captivating persona

I am now picturing her in a drinking contest with every other member of the Meridian and drinking them all under the table one after the other.

So glad her and the Veil are allies.
