(PSN)WallyZ21
I (and another player) spent the best part of 2 hours searching for one of the 3 caches. We found some incrediblely well hidden areas containing plenty of loot but not one of the caches. From: Underground rooms hidden under the roots of trees where electrically charged water had to be disabled before the lockers could be reached. Scaling twisted trees and performing blind wall runs to an unseen entrance. Performing the leap of faith down a hole/pits to land on and unseen ledge. Locating stashes that could be seen but only reached by running up pillars and back flipping into a high wall alcove. And each time thinking yeah this is it! Never heard the humming that is supposed to give the caches away. Not my lucky day I suppose.
Amorax
The sounds from caches aren't easy to notice, you must only have the game sounds on. Eventually you even end up thinking you're hearing it while you don't. Me and my friend and I had that a lot. Sometimes I still think I hear one when I'm in Orokin Derelict. The caches are pretty well hidden. But eventually you'll know all spots. I ran through them finding one after another on the last two days. Eventually you'll have memorized all spots they can be in every tileset.
Frostosti
just search with zephyr that can fly, then just keep checking all the regular spots quickly. shouldn't take you more than 15 min each run also use loot detector and thiefs wit Edited October 22, 2014 by Frostosti
AXCrusnik
I didn't even know the caches hummed... Just keep an eye out for the Grineer lockers with white lights instead of green or red. As said above, eventually you'll catch on to their locations and finding them will basically be checking the usual spawn areas.
(PSN)Pharen
I eventually found every hiding spot. I've only had 2 missions where i couldn't find them all after I figured it out.
(PSN)WallyZ21
I did manage to find (see) the white lockers on a couple of locations but couldn't mange to figure how to reach them. One of those places is inside a large vertical pillar with a high entrance partially covered by small branches. I did manage to jump to the entrance but could not get past the branches. On the same pillar lower down there are two holes that allow you to enter and walk through the pillar and come out on the other side of the pillar. Inside the pillar there is only a small tunnel, that connects the two holes, and does not lead higher up to where the white locker is situated. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to find my way in but could't figure it out. there did not appear to be entrances high up the pillar. The pillar is connected to the ceiling so maybe the entrance is from above but I couldn't find a higher level over the pillar. (PSN)WallyZ21
Managed to find a way into that pillar location. There is an entrance hole higher up the knot of branches that can be reached by traversing a long branch that starts in a side alcove near the pillar. Go to to the alcove jump on a large box and face the wall, wall run and back flip onto over head branch (can take several attempts). Walk along branch until at cache and jump down. But once inside you may get stuck there as the the branch is to high to get back onto. So you can grab the cache but not get back out. Would probably need Super Jump with Excalibur to get out. Or if in a group on the way back after all the mission objectives are complete one of the players goes in to get the cache while other players go to the extraction point to end the game. Vercinaigh
ez pz if you've done enough runs on either Derelict or Void, also often more than not when you think you hear it, you probably do. More often than not you won't mistake it, it's a very distinct sound. There are some VERY unique spots in Derelict and found the challenge welcomed but easy to overcome. (PSN)Pharen
Managed to find a way into that pillar location. -snip - Yeah, that ones is a pain, someone i was playing with found a way to glitch out of that room, but I couldn't figure it out. Otherwise you need a warframe with an ability like valkyrs rip line, excaliburs super jump, or vaubans bounce pad.
willis936
Nova with loot radar/detector. Investigate everything, use teleport to get to the tricky spots.

If it's the same room I'm thinking of, you can get out of it without a mobility power. It's possible to go into a horizontal wall run from a vertical one; run up the wall until you're higher than the branch, then, while you're backflipping to the other wall, turn your camera at an angle to the wall instead of facing it head on. Get the right angle and you'll run along the wall instead of up it like normal. You can still overshoot and fall back into the area, but it's perfectly possible to get out with any 'frame. I soloed Gate Crash a bunch of times with Rhino and only got stuck in there when I glitched. Hope that helps. (Out of curiosity, is there an official time to how long a thread must be unreplied to before it's considered 'dead'?)

That's wrong. I have tested every single angle in that room, and it is not possible to get out of that room. "run up the wall until you're higher than the branch" - You don't get higher than the branch, you don't even get as high as the branch, that's the problem. The devs obviously either didn't test it, or wanted people only to get that cache as a sacrifice, or with warframes that have the right powers equipped. Shoelip
Is Gate Crash still going on on consoles? Here's something that might help. I made a list of all but two of the areas in which the lockers can spawn. They also spawn in the room with the monorail dumping empty cryopods into a pit. If you climb up the tree in the room next to the rail up into a hole in the ceiling they're up there. They also sometime spawn in the long room with the raised uneven platforms in the middle. The one with the lasers on the floor of the non derelict version where you can wall run and jump along the sides of the platforms to get from one end to the other without getting hit by the lasers..
