(PSN)Condawg15
well ive been a long time fan of warframe and of DE's communication with the fans cause they listen to everything. but like many console people i got sucked into destiny i liked it for awhile then i decieded to look at the forums and sweet jesus they are awful, bungie only sends communication to fans once a week but DE does its every 5 minutes. so after visiting the bungie forums i quickly came back to warframe.(good communication DE)
Blatantfool
Haha. Yeah. The Bungie forums are a huge mess of rage most days. I feel super bad for all the work that must be piled on top of their Moderation crew.
Mirriky
There have been times where things get out of hand, but overall I love this community (and the devs) <3 Edited October 24, 2014 by cam-o-flage20
(PSN)Hiero_Glyph
Smart move. Destiny was so overhyped; the gameplay is nice but it lacks so many other features it's scary that it had a $500 million budget. While Warframe is certainly not perfect, DE has done a fantastic job adding features and making it truly free-to-play. Even the console players don't feel like second-rate players like with so many other games.

(PSN)renosis
Yes, I agree, the community is better than many other communities, but every community has its problems. DE is very nice to us though and do a wonderful job with communication. I don't understand the big draw Destiny has for people. Found it kind of repetitive. The story and lore is awful. I mean, I understood the vague back story, but during most missions I have no idea what reasons my character has for doing the things he is doing. I expected much more for such a huge budget and hyped game. Still, every time I look at my PS4 friend's list, where it used to say "Playing Warframe", it now mostly says "Playing Destiny". Makes me kind of sad. I keep thinking all these people will return eventually, it took me about two weeks to get bored of Destiny. I have been playing Warframe since I got my PS4 in December 2013. I just think Warframe is better than Destiny in so many different ways.
(PSN)Hiero_Glyph
Yeah, about the only thing I want from Destiny in Warframe is different ships to use other than the Liset. It would make the loading screens more interesting and potentially provide a custom environment/space for your pre-game lobby.
Theodorick
It's only when you have experienced different that you can truly appreciate how much effort is deployed by DE and its staff for us. Thank you all! Even in games like Destiny the sad part is that most often than not, forums are a place of negativity by design. Its the only place you go to find answers or voice your anger. Happy people will be playing and enjoying it despite the flaws. Threads like this are rare and often soon to be buried under the rest unfortunatly. MM209
I barely made it to the moon in Destiny, it was just so.... bland of a game.
scavenge
DE is top notch, but they do have lots of bugs (to be fixed and then reintroduced and fixed again... and...).
harakiripour
No. It really isn't. All I see are people whining about hallway heroes and rushers, or total fanboys. Pretty typical community.

I get the feeling that they simply can't keep their head above the water due to the sheer load of negative spam so the Moderation must have decided to just let it burn and focus on only the really nasty stuff. I barely made it to the moon in Destiny, it was just so.... bland of a game. It's a fine game. It's biggest real gameplay issues are a lack of content and really, really, REALLY awful social features.
Twilight053
Comparing to other giant communities out there, I have to say that Warframe really have one of the best communities out there. Yes, it's toxic at times, but it isn't a terrible recurrence like Destiny. Props for you, mates. Edited October 24, 2014 by Twilight053

Ryme
In my experience, Devs only get quiet when they're not "happy" about what they're dong either; mainly because they know something was a bs move. I've been in games where during development, Devs are constantly interacting with the community on feedback and explaining decisions. But then something will happen, the management and direction will will change, and they go silent. I see it more as a trait of human nature. When you're proud of something, you want to scream it from the mountain tops or defend it to your last breath. But if you're ashamed of something, regardless of if you're fully accountable for it, you tend to shy away from being involved with it. The constant interaction between DE and the players is indicative of the quality of their game. Edited October 24, 2014 by Ryme
