Opticor Causing Crashes?

So i have the new rifle Opticor at the moment. It's a little "specific" to its function but its fun to use. My issue is that i seem to crash when using it pretty frequently. My husband who was playing next to me also gets the same crashes when i used the rifle even if he doesn't have one.

 

Anyone having the same issue?

I've had the issue with it causing my game to crash. Haven't been able to pin-point what it is. First I thought maybe it was from firing it too fast, but it just seems random at this point. Got through one match fine with it, then had six others where it would crash.

I thought it was becaus eof the Opticor so i switched Weapons but it still happens anyways. Have you tried playing while not using the Opticor? If not i suggest to try it to find out if the Problem really is the opticor for you.

Yeh it seems really really common for me. Usually around 10 shots, less or more one of them will make my game instantly freeze to an unrecoverable state. It seems to happen after i shoot.

same problem. If i m using opticor, 1 or 2 shots are enough to crash game!

Yeh i have, it runs perfect without the Opticor. The moment i start using it, games start crashing. Even when i'm using it, it can cause other players to crash.

Same here. Sent a support ticket with an EE log and they told me to verify and optimize the game cache because some downloaded content seemed to be faulty.

 

Doing that right now, will report back if it still crashes afterwards.

 

Edit: Issue persists. Opticor makes me and my friend still crash.

I've been running around with Opticor without it resulting to crashes, shame we can't all have that. 

 

I have had crashes though, but most them happen while trying to start a match or while joining.

Ahh it just crashed when i was charging the weapon, so it just seems any use of it causes a crash.

I just verified and optimized files. Still crash when using it.

Hotfix didn't fixed that either. Im not crashign anymore when im not using it but as soon as i equip it and use it i crash.

You finally did it DE, you made a gun so powerful that the game cant handle it ;)

Yeh i just tried it now with the hotfix. Still crashes the game pretty quickly. I also think i made someone else crash while i was testing if it made me crash or not.

 

Curiously, would people post if they are Nvidia or AMD on graphics card? I'm on Nvidia.

Same here got off work excited to level this beast and first match and 5 shots in . boom crash

Reporting in that I've got the same issue as y'all. After 2-3 minutes of use the game would crash. Already opened a ticket for support.
