New Ciphers: What Are Your Thoughts?

The original type of ciphers are ridiculously easy - they always were and while we asked DE to make them harder, akin to the mastery test ones, they did the opposite.

No, they put in ones like the Mastery Test ones. You can find them in the Orokin Derelict Sabotage missions.

Well, we (I) wanted the regular ciphers to be more complex as a first step and make even harder cipher-accessed doors to house grineer/corpus armories/treasure rooms and void parkour rooms to end with a void vault containing good stuff. Guess I wasn't loud enough... I know they just couldn't care less but it feels so good to pity myself.

 

Also linked picture doesn't show a truly complex cipher, just to point that out.

Grineer Ciphers when played from Australia are almost impossible.

 

You need to hit the button before the cursor reaches the segment you want to effect because of the latency we suffer due to being so far away from the servers.

 

Either make them more tolerant of Latency or scrap them and rework them to be immune to latency.
