Am I The Only One Experiences Frequent Crashes?

Originally wrote this as a ticket for tech support but thought I would come in here and ask again if anyone has any clue.

Constant crashing while playing. Sometimes within 5-10m of entering a game sometimes it lets me play for a few hours. Most of the time the screen freezes, I get sound and can shoot and move but that is it. When I use the windows key to get back to the desktop sometimes that works and sometimes that doesn't but if I just to click on the warframe icon then I get the crash report and wf closes.

I have tried turning dx11 and/or 10 off, nvidia physx, tess, bloom, etc etc if it had an option I tried it. I have optimized and reinstalled. I have run at different resolutions. My gpu and cpu do not get hot while playing ever and they are both running at stock speeds. Did I read somewhere this could be a windows 8 problems?

I am about to give up on warframe even though I enjoy playing the game so much. It isn't the new patch I started playing again in u14 and that is when this started but before that I hadn't played since march. Even if it worked in dx9 with settings turned off I think I would quit playing, I built this pc because I wanted to play games like yours at full or close to full settings and yea warframe looks great. I even used nvidias new dsr setting for it last night just for the hell of it and it looked even better, got the same crash as I have been getting.  Please I would love an idea.
