Are Affinity Boosters Working?

This is just a notice, but I notice it's taking an extended amount of time to level up Limbo. Anyone else getting this, because my method is pretty effective so far;

 

Sechura, wave 10-15, few runs, then Kappa to finish it off. 

 

Now, it's Sechura and pray I level up at least twice.

 

This isn't a cry for tips (unless something happened), I'm not asking for tips. Sechura->Kappa way always works for me, got my Forma'd Excalibur from 3 to 30 within a matter of about 45 minutes-an hour.

 

It just seems to me like it's taking way longer than it used to.

 

EDIT: Yes, I realize Affinity Boosters simply double the amount.

Did 20. Limbo leveled up from 21 to 24 :O. Yeah, didn't work. By 20 waves before U15, I got to rank 11 from 2.

you do realized that you need more exp to level up as you level up higher right?

I'm saying this never took THIS long to do before. I'm not aware if they changed any requirements.
