Xebov Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) I got my Archwing today and played a bit together with a friend. We noticed several issues that need to be addressed. Warframe Archwing relationship The relationship between the Warframe and the Archwing has a huge design flaw with it. Its extremely problematic that Warframe statts carry over to the Archwing. Its fine that you are using Warframe Mods to improve the Archwing (you should, however release a list of the mods that are working), buts its problematic that Warframe statts carry over. Since only Armor, Health and Shields carry over you made Rhino and Frost the best Frames to sue since they have the highest Shield together with high Health/Armor values, while Frames like Loki dont add up any bonus to the Archwing and have the issues of way less Shields. My suggestion to fix this is simple. Give every Archwing its own values for every stat and let only Mod bonuses carry over, this way all Warframes would be equally useable. The first space mission/last Archwing Quest mission This mission needs some more work. The first issue is that this Mission can have hazzards, if you get an ice hazzard the halved shields will stay for the whole mission, even the space part. The space part itself is way to hectic. First of all you dont get told what your first ability does or how you move, especially the up/down movement would be important. The otehr issue is that you need constant movement to prevent getting hitted by the ship and the Zepelins spawn to much enemies. My suggestion here is: - add lines for the Lotus/Ordis to tell you what your fiorst ability does and how to move in the enviroment - reduce the enemy spawn at Zepelins so palyers have a bit easier time to get used to the gameplay in space - disable hazards for this mission so you dont get stuff like halved shields - remove the part where the ship is firing at you so palyers can explore and try stuff out without haste Item drops and rewards Items drops are a bit annoying. In space with the distances you fight on its sometimes realy hard to see item drops, especially Mods that are needed. Giving them bigger models or indicators would be very helpfull. Especially in bigger maps you can easily miss the loot. The reward tables for Interception missions need to be fixed as they reward normal Mods instead of Archwing Mods wich makes playing these missions pointless. Additional Notes/Bugs - Enemies get stuck in asteroids on a regular basis - up/down movement does not use alternative key bindings, if have bound an additional key for jumping/crouching that is not useable with my Archwing, limiting my movement Edited October 26, 2014 by Xebov Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
