ShelbyTrooper
I want a program to set the warframe refresh rate or limit FPS, if you know any that is not DxTory, please, tell me. If you want to know why, keep reading. ***************************************************************** This is an old issue the game have with refresh rate, like my last 18.5 inch Dell monitor and my new 32 LED samsung TV. Warframe keep alternating the refresh rate from 60 to 30 everytime, so the vsync force the game to 30 fps and go back to 60 in ANY SCREEN CONFIGURATION, this is old bug, it is here since U13.5 Vsync Off, the game go to 90fps and start cutting frames, really annoying, in payday 2, this was solved simple manually changing the screen refresh rate to 60. and in lower resolution, the game force 24hz = 24fps, and again, in payday 2, this was solved simple manually changing the screen refresh rate to 60. Not only payday 2, any game that have the option to change the refresh rate, like TDU 2, spore... The "fix" before U15 was, every time i login ingame, Alt+Tab to desktop and switch back to the game, the guy from, support said at that time, this would be passed to DE, well, U15 is here, worst than ever, and the "fix" don't work anymore and the game is changing the refresh rate on loading screen too, always set to 30.25 fps, the screen get an "dead" aspect. Well [DE]Will said that this will be passed to DE, but don't have a immediate fix. Until there, i want a third party program to limit/set refresh rate and vsync, DxTory have an option to limit FPS, but when i try to open warframe and have it running, the game crash. Guys if you know some program to do that, tell me, please. Sorry for bad english.
Maruitake
If you have a nVidia graphics card, you can use nVidia Inspector to activate a framerate limiter. Then you can deactivate V-Sync and set the limiter to 60. Note, however, that it is not possible to get rid of sreen tearing unless you activate V-Sync (and accept input lag or the problems you mentioned). Maruitake
Well, as I said, you have to live with it unless you buy a G-Sync display.
