Syndicates Sigils

Well,

Now that's clear that they're only for 'cosmetics', Sigils given by Syndicates as rewards should totally allow to earn more reputation.
At the end, people pay to have those things and they should have some kind of utility, also because most of them are nothing special. 

 

In this way, it's also more easy to farm reputation. A player should only reach the max level on a Syndicate, take the highest Sigil and then be able to farm a lot more points. In this way, EVERY player could claim multiple rewards and be able to trade them, as you Devs wish. *

 

*Consider the fact that if earn reputation is so difficult, people will never trade anything. They'll just take what they want and then switch Syndicates. Spend reputation on an item a player already have is not a choice, because it's just a waste of time (he must farm all these points, take it and then hope that there is someone in the World that is searching for it).

HOW THE SYSTEM SHOULD WORK FOR ME

 

 


I made an example to be clear.

Rank 0 Sigils (the standard ones) give the normal amount of reputation.
Rank 1 Sigils (cost 5k) give 1.5x reputation.

Rank 2 Sigils (cost 15k) give 2x reputation.

Rank 3 Sigils (25k) give 2.5x reputation.

Rank 4 Sigils (50k) give 3.5x reputation.

Rank 5 Sigils (100k) give 5.0x reputation.

 

Also, a player could be allowed to wear only a Sigils of the rank he has into the Syndicate.
For example, if I'm Rank 3 in New Loka (Benevolent) I could be allowed to wear only Rank 3 Sigils. 

I think it's a perfect system. Not much grind, but also not too easy to gain reputation.

Reputation is not so hard to get though, go 25 waves on a DS defense and you get about 1000.

then keep in mind you need 5k standing for the first title, then 22k on the next,

PLUS sigils cost between 5-30k Standing

Did i mention that after like 500 hours when you finally get to that last title, youll need 25k standing for EACH mod?

Trust me... reputation is hard to get/

Just the fact that you need do to 25-35 waves on the hardest defenses in the game to scratch 1000 shows it

Reputation is not so hard to get though, go 25 waves on a DS defense and you get about 1000.

 

There are two ways to get mods supporting only 1 Syndicate:

- buying them with Plats;

- trade them for other mods;

 

Of course the first is for people who pay to play.

For the second, you need exactly 975k reputation to get all of them (ONLY all of them), plus 5k reputation per Syndicate, plus all the other things a player could want (Sigils, BPs, Specters). 

This means more then 1kk reputation TILL NOW. How much in the future when they'll add more rewards?

 

P.S.: 1kk means 1k of your wave 25 Defense runs. 30 minutes each, how much does it take? 500 hours circa. 500 HOURS. There are people who doesn't even have that time played in over an year and more.

But also with boosters, only to have all the mods you'll need 250 hours. Still too much.

Reward Sigils should definetly gain more reputation, or all that matter will end with an enormous, gigantic grind wall.

"Reputation Boosters" are already here. Its called "Affinity Booster".

Oh god...

 

I have 320 hours after 1 year and 2 months. So from now i would need to play ANOTHER 2 years before i could get everything...

 

EDIT: I don't know if you counted negative reputation...If you didn't that would mean more than 500 hours.

No, I forgot to count negative reputation and all the other things.... XD

My friend, remember. Play for ONE YEAR the same Defence mission till wave 25. No event, no Void, no Archwings, nothing more then high Defence waves till wave 25. 

And all of that ONLY if you support 1 Syndicate as Devs wish. If you switch (i.e. negative reputation as you wrote), thing become really more serious. I don't even want to know how much time is needed. It only hurts my feelings. :(
