Retextured Coloring Problem

As most of you know, DE has been retexturing a lot of new materials to make them see more like they should.


Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love and have been waiting for this for the longest time now. There's just something that just doesn't make any sense though:




Rextexturing the metal weapons pretty much gets rid of the colors you choose to put on it. We might as well set it back to the false gamma colors.


Not only does this negate the change in the color palettes but you can barely tell what color it is unless you're in the right lighting.


Yes, I understand this is just in the early stages at the moment and that there still plenty of changes that are to come but doesn't mean I can't show the rest of the community.
