Why Don't All Weapons Have A Half Off Mark?

Shouldn't this be something consistent across everything? I see no reason why some weapons should and others shouldn't.

Some weapons would possibly be to powerfull with polarities. And some that are supposed to be more powerfull would just not be worth getting?
I don't know, just a theory.

There are no levels to the weapons, or there shouldn't be. You have different types against different enemies, at most. These should be flat, like the different weapons in Monster Hunter. Each one is valid for any mission, but that long blade would be easier for the flying types, If some weapons are too strong with polarities, change it or nerf it.
