False...

Syndicate reputation is distributed according to affinity earned.

Affinity boosters will also double your rate.

Want the best rate? Go to a small defense map with a 'speed nova' and powerful weapons and use a booster.

Points are distributed based on exp earned by the warframe itself. To earn the maximum amount of points, you need to only have one weapon equipped and no sentinel. Using your warframe abilities to score kills will increase the exp it earns, thus increasing the standing points you get with your syndicate. Just earned 1800 off of 4 rounds on Cerberus doing this. Using an affinity booster will also work on boosting the standing you earn because it is based off warframe affinity earned, so if I have a booster on, I get double the standing points.

A general consensus seems to be that the lower your conclave, the more points you get. So go in with just your frame & a primary & you'll get more points per mission.

These seem related for obvious reasons.

I found that Pluto Cerberus is a great place to farm for standing, and it also gives you a chance for a key. After 4 rounds, I get 1k standing. With a booster, you can get 2k standing per run.

Stay for 6 rounds and you can get 2.5-3k standing w/o boosters, from what I;ve heard.
