Puncture Mods Any Good?

Question

Just as the title says, is there any good use for puncture mods right now?

I know that you can shoot through grineer shield guys shields with puncture (at 0.1 already i think).

If i rank it up to 0.6, would i be able to just shoot through 2-3 guys with my weapons?

Here's a fairly long thread about it:

https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/30200-puncture-mods-are-still-not-worth-it/?hl=puncture

I have the mod but found it unnecessary, and takes up too many mod points. I can just as easily kill shield lancers by aiming at their feet/head, mixing it up with them melee style, and for those hiding behind cover there's usually a small part of the body sticking out that you can aim and hit.

I think it starts around what like 10 mod cost? Base. Goes up to 15

So half of an un potatoed gun's mod capacity.

Nowhere close to worth it. 90% of enemies do not have physical shields.

Also most enemies behind cover can still be hit in an exposed limb.

10 mod capacity is insane for this thing. It is fusion fodder in my book.
