But it is so inviting to lampoon it ... "Pail of Fail", "Trail of Wail", "Tale of Frail", "Nail the Jail", "Stale of Kale" (need I go on?)

Can't you people just stick with "Pierce the Veil"? I already gave you that slogan in the anti-Veil thread!

But I like "Stale of Kale" the best XD

Pierce the Veil is my favorite even tough i'm veil

Sounds so naughty...

Yeah the Arbiters and Suda way seems to me like a rebirth of the Orokin Empire but as a Tenno one

If you wanna throw that balance BS out the airlock and rule the universe you go with them.

RULE THE UNIVERSE!!

Actually I just went with Suda because in the description it said it likes to learn new things, which is totally me. The Arbiters I just like the dude who's talking, his voice is nice xD I don't really care for their beliefs, but I feel like some of the syndicates have radical views.

I actually agree with Red Veil, about the cleansing fire and burning everthing to start anew, but maybe that's a bit too much. It does say in their description they see everything else as corruption. But I do like their ideas. I dunno man, if this was real life I'd join the Red Veil, but since it's not I tend to go towards my fantasy persona.

Just my opinion here.

When opening up the syndicate tab of the Arbiters a part of what they say is "The Tenno will surpass their former masters".

Now my question is: we will surpass what former masters? The orokin? Didn't they create us because they couldn't do jack S#&$ to the sentient? (Mag prime codex) Aren't we way better than the best orokin troops? Didn't we also kill the orokin for their golden loot?

What former masters do we have to surpass?

In thread by theclintion I outlined the circumstantial evidence that the Hexis are comprised EXCLUSIVELY of Tenno and that in the speaker's introduction "masters" meant the Orokin

BUT it is entirely possible that DE has a number of story twists lined up for us

Consequently, there may be other very interesting groups which have not been introduced yet

"Truth through patience" may be the operative phrase here ...

At first I disliked Hexis because in the previews it looked like they were aligned with Red Veil, who rub me the wrong way and give me World War vibes. Red Veil seem extrmely radical and desire to purge anything with no remorse. The "No cost to great, no blood too precious" slogan makes me think they have no qualms about killing even victims of this war, or actual children no less if they so desire, and I'm just not down with that. They also strike me as the type of group to do book burnings and rewrite history to suit their needs.

Then I learned that Red veil are actually the enemy of Hexis, latter of whom don't really seem to even have any concrete ideology. They just desire for the Tenno to be enlightned to better themselves and to make their own decisions, as opposed to being mere mute footsoldiers, by seeking the truth and gaining knowledge, similar to Cephalon Suda, who they are also aligned with.

This also helps support the theory that Red Veil not only want to commit galaxy wide genocide, but they also want to purge information or trade it in for indoctrination against knowledge.

I certainly don't see what a great purge is supposed to even accomplish. Fact is, corruption is going to come up whether present or future, no matter what, when it does then there should be protocols for policing that, not platitudes about wiping everthing out. I believe things need to be handled in a case by case basis, not a blind Final Solution campaign.

(edited) an excellent post ...

not a blind Final Solution campaign

Nice summary statement ... 1+

Even so, I view the dynamic between Hexis and the Veil a bit differently

With no hard facts, I surmise that the Veil represents the last bastion of the Orokin Empire

It may have been founded by the disenfranchised Orokin honor guard and they aspire to re-establish the Orokin ways

It is even possible that there was a schism in the Tenno ranks, some remaining loyal to the Orokin, others opting for a neutrality and abstained from the initial and subsequent conflict

This would explain why the Veil (who ardently support the Orokin) would even allow Tenno to join (or cooperate) with the Veil

Regardless, what the Veil considers to be "corrupted" is anything that has fallen away from the "ideals" of the Orokin

In stark contrast, Hexis was founded as the antithesis of the Orokin

It most likely is comprised of Tenno who revolted against the Orokin (for any number of reasons, none definitively known)

They reject the Orokin limitations upon Tenno evolution, choosing a path of ascendance

Naturally, Hexis and Veil are mortal enemies - probably the greatest (although game mechanics of reputation doesn't reflect this)
