Escantell
After so long in stasis, and having lost all my memories of the past, I now thirst for the knowledge that was denied to me. Through Suda, I shall know all. Through Suda, I shall control my future, by knowing the past. All too many of you live in the present, simply reacting. Without a past, you are nothing but reeds, bending as the wind blows. I, I shall be that wind. Powered by the flames of the past, I shall become your future. Temperance000
Ideological analysis: inconclusive. Further investigation warranted. Stated goals of Syndicate designation "New Loka" do not appear to conflict with primary directives at this time. Discrepancy: New Loka operatives have displayed consistent and irrational hostility towards operatives in the field, despite aforementioned ideological compatibility. New directive: limit engagement to self-defensive measures pending evidence of long-term intentions. Preserve. Collect. Clarify. -Cephalon Suda

Jucesar
This kinda explains why Perrin and Loka are allies. Yeah, Loka likes that the Sequence strives for piece and prosperity and yarayarayara, but why would the Sequencenbe allied to the Loka? Would it receive any benefit from the restoration of humanity? Long live the Sequence btw

So you can imagine why their members would be quick to the trigger. I'd ask why Suda doesn't show humility, but the lack of emotions and morality kind of answer that question for me. Temperance000
You advocate absolute xenocide? Genocide, not xenocide. Xenocide is the mass killing of aliens or that which is foreign. Since humans and human derivatives are the only intelligent life forms thus far encountered (excluding the Sentients), "xenocide" is a practical impossibility. And no, I do not think that he was advocating genocide. He was merely pointing out that humans have a way of screwing things up. As with nearly every cultural organization, the generalization of beliefs leads to splintering in ideals. Also I'm pretty sure New Loka is the punching bag of the Syndicates. So you can imagine why their members would be quick to the trigger. I'd ask why Suda doesn't show humility, but the lack of emotions and morality kind of answer that question for me. Why is humility necessary? We do not seek your approval or acceptance, merely your ambivalence and the freedom to carry out our mission: the collection and preservation of historical knowledge. Addendum: in what way has Cephalon Suda shown arrogance? Arrogance is a human trait, marked by a belief in personal superiority. If this is an issue of ideology, all Syndicates must be held equally guilty.

Adumu
I exist in this world as I am, and flow through this world as I wish. I do as I like, and what I feel is right. I live in the presence and do not yearn for the knowledge of the past- if it should come to me, I will learn that which came before the present. Should it never reach my eyes, this information means nothing to me. Many seek to learn from the past. I do not fault them for this, it is through the analysis of the past that the mistakes made by those before us may be avoided in the present. But I simply do not care. My decisions, my mistakes... I own these choices I have made, and forever more they will be mine. I take pride in my accomplishments and I regret my mistakes, but they are and always will be mine. I do not scorn knowledge, but neither do I hold it upon a pedestal. I simply exist in the present, and my aim is to create a future I can be happy with. Should my goals conflict with those of others, I will communicate with them. I will try to make them understand why I believe the things I believe, why I live as I do... should this fail, however... I can do nothing more for those who do not agree with my views than to hope our separate paths never cross in a violent fashion. If I must choose the world I can be happy in, or the world of someone who disagrees with my views, then the decision is clear to me. My future is mine to shape- just as the futures of those around me are their own. You can't change the past; the present is nothing but building stones towards the future. Whether or not this future leads to prosperity or ruin depends on who is the driving force of advancement.

And given that Suda's drones seem to condemn humanity, I'd say that is only logical to assume that the elimination of those darned 'corrupt humans' would be a realistic endgoal for them. all that wall'o'text work by OP... overshadowed by this. awesome <3 I don't mind. dethkittin
Steel Meridian are the only people that care about fighting for those who can't defend themselves (you know they aren't talking about grineer when they say that!), you are terrible people who abandon your own race in the name of short-sighted eugenics when humanity thrives on variety. We will kick your butt. -Ember Edited October 28, 2014 by dethkittin
