gaurdianaq
I know there have been a bunch of threads about this but i was just thinking. If my understanding is correct syndicate points are based on affinity gained for your warframe, this is why only having 1 weapon equipped in a 4 player match earns you more syndicate points, cause of the way affinity is split between warframe and weapons. That being said, that would mean that getting kills with warframe abilities instead of your weapon would mean you would get more syndicate points. This would explain why I see caster frames getting more syndicate points than other frames. Meaning ability based builds would be superior for syndicate farming correct? Hmmm maybe I need to make a caster frame.
Kthal
If that is the case, Mag on Cerberus may be the way to go...
gaurdianaq
I was thinking more so nova... I had a mag and didn't really like her at the time, maybe I just didn't have enough power strength, I'm thinking of spamming my rhino abilities... or maybe saryn, haven't used her in a while... Eric1738
actually current distribution makes leechers get more points, and i dont even know why... but seriously, yes, using abilities increases your standing points, so if you are playing in a good team or with friends, use warframes like ash or mag in cerberus. Seraphyx
If this is the case, it would kind of make sense. In U15 they wanted to encourage everyone to use their abilities by giving them to you all for free (plus all of these ability mods from the Syndicates). They seem to be nudging us to use abilities more.

.Monarch
I'm having doubts with this one. Earlier yesterday I saw the thread about Pluto - Cerberus, people racking up 2.5k standing per 4 rounds. I did the same with Nyx Prime with Bo Prime. No sentinels / kubrow. Team of 4. I spammed Chaos and Absorb, getting tons of kills. Only got 1.5k standing. Did twice. And yes I have affinity booster.

Mag with +100% power strength or higher makes it so shield polarize is a 100% swing for all shields, so allies are instantly full, enemies are 0, and it also makes explosions from enemy shields if they are reduced to 0 based on power strength and how much was drained, so large shield enemies make very powerful blasts, though it doesn't hurt the one whose shield it was that exploded, but that's why shield ospreys are so much fun. Dualstar
If that is the case, Mag on Cerberus may be the way to go... Had this idea and tried it earlier. Didnt seem to get me any more points than when i was running around as Zephyr with Burston Prime. Sure, but it must be supported by a specific loadout, which is.......? Stretch, Streamline and Fleeting Expertise are all you really need. Extra damage isnt required, though you may as well if you have the mod space. Health and shield mods are helpful for not getting murdered in between Bladestorms though. Edited October 27, 2014 by Dualstar
Kinperor
My understanding is that what actually give more Standing yield to ability kills is the affinity you get on cast, not necessarily how it splits affinity between gear, based on my tests.
