Bandwidth Utilization

this is a download usage log of my last play session.

This was ODD to wave 30.

 

The long flat gap is where we had to sit to regen the pod around wave 23 or so.

 

you can see that the bandwidth usage is upwards to 60k for me. (a client system) -- (peak @ 69.6kBps)

 

the mission ended around 12:14 local time. (the rest is actually forums / web traffic)

 

This would seem to indicate that currently the host is being required to push up to 180k/sec on peak usage. (1.5mbps or so)

 

which, from my experience, is 50% higher than it used to be.

you can also see that the 10-15, 15-20, 20-25 and 25-30 bandwidth usage increases from about 40k to 60k.

 

This doesn't look good for those poor souls stuck with DSL. It's was already almost impossible for us to host and it seems that it's going to get worse.

 

Is this known? Expected?
