Taronium
"Oh, hell no"- came to my mind during a Grineer Extermination Mission on Saturn, when suddenly Lotus tells me to return to the mission, as I apparently went outside the mission space, fighting with Enemies(!!!). I killed them all, try to return and Ordis swings by going "Very well...emergency extraction" ... Ok, let's not get too deep into the horribly disorienting "radar or map view" or what ever you may call that. It's been tough in ordinary missions sometimes, but out there, this thing is like Amiga 500 level of sophistication (even if Elite had there and even on the C-64 a better spacial orientation than this!). Yes, I know, I should avoid being insulting, but really...c'mon...it's one of the most beautiful games out there and I'm down right fanatic with Warframe, but - even after all the unbelievable Interface improvements and beautifying, DE somehow forgot about the HUD - whilst adding a stunning new game mode with the Archwing. Folks, honestly, orientation is everything and this has to improve dramatically! It would be only HALF as upsetting, if Lotus wouldn't suddenly decide to send Ordis to pick you up for no reason other than bad "navigation equipment" and declare a nearly completed mission as failed. "Oh, hell no!" Edited October 28, 2014 by Taronium

Jinryusai
The waypoint system has always been trash. There needs to be more details, perhaps a moving line on the map and disappears and reappears.
SteeleTheShow
I agree. Archwing modes need some kind of HUD to orient yourself
WSkD
Yes! I was horribly surprised as I got "emergency extracted" for the first time! It makes no real sense or at least we should be able to "see" the boundaries of our "navigation equipment" =( Thought Lotus and Ordis were joking. HAR1MAU
Yes archwing needs a 3D mini map thats less confusing, like this:For a trench run enviorment: For a free space enviorment: Edited October 29, 2014 by HAR1MAU
aVeryOddJew
I also think the enemies should be better indicated on and easier to track with constant arrows pointing to their direction. Also differentiating them from the environment at a distance gets a little confusing as the blend in way too well.
Taronium
Thre you go, HAR1MAU, that's precisely what I was going to suggest! A disk at your viewing plane, related to how you move (forward, up/down) as matrix, so you'll know when to move up, down or turn...eh...I'd imagine, I totally don't need to write any of this, haha. (Or so I hope!) Looking pretty snazy! That would be most beautiful! Thanks for sharing! 8D Yeah, I'm not so troubled with not seeing them at a distance, but that the overlay doesn't indicate proximity enough, that's really annoying, too. Especially (everywhere, haha) but in Corpus missions it's most obvious, because you'd think you could spot where the enemy is, but behind the bright red design, which doesn't change size or give any hint on how far away that guy is, it's tough to even see any enemy as dark as it all is. It's not too rare that I'm trying to see where the guy is, while he's TOTALLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY NOSE, hahaha... that's kind of a hint that there's trouble. Here's what I would try: The closer the enemy gets, the red overlay fades, maybe even something sexy like a mild wire frame could replace it...you know... something a space-age-hi-tech thing would do for a puny user like us, hehe. ;o) Anyway, thanks for sharing those "spoilers"... I'd call them "hopers" instead, for sure! 8D Can't wait!
HAR1MAU
There is a bug where you can only see the mark of an enemy, but can't kill it.Only the host can see the actual model of the enemy and kill it, This is very annoying in interception when you get shot by something or lose a point because of a stupid dargyn cant see or kill. Adder1
Not to mention that in addition to all of this, it can be really, REALLY hard to notice drops from enemies, especially if they're the kind that leave behind a lingering wreck for a second or so. By then, you're usually swapping to another target so you can't really tell that you missed an Archwing mod... which can be aggravating to say the least. MirageKnight
There's also that thing with Intercept...where at times it's near impossible to decap and recap a point - even with no enemies around.

Yea, the drops are way to small, they should be much bigger, I've lost count how many times I ran out of energy because I couldn't find any orbs, blue orbs and a blue well... spacebox? is a bad idea. Asynaptic2
Seconds to all of the above - and --- at the end of rounds could we get archwing rewards in archwing missions just like we get land frame rewards in land frame missions?? - It only makes sense. Usable HUD - Visible Map Boundaries - Visible enemies - Visible drops - Proper rewards - in a nutshell
