Archwing Forced Extraction

Everything else about this latest patch has been simply amazing. However, the out of bounds extraction may be the most frustrating, poorly thought out feature that this game has ever had. I've repeatedly lost -everything- from round 4+ interceptions because enemies are out of bounds behind a rock and I get to choose between being the hero to go kill them and get booted or hope someone else feels courageous. If you're going to keep it in, at least give up the experience and mods we'd earned up to that point! Or simply remove the godawful feature and make a definite invisible wall.

This happens in exterminates as well, and it is VERY frustrating. I've been happily zipping along dodging and shooting then suddenly get a notice from lotus I'm going out bounds. I will make the attempt to get back into bounds but generally because of the lack of any thing to  help orient which direction you are going except waypoints, at least half the time I'll get turned around and proceed to fly right back out of bounds and get forced to extract.

If we can't go out of bounds enemies MUST not be able to either.

We need some sort of indication visually for where the bounds are. Somewhat related... we need a map that can function in 3 dimensions better.

I would personally settle for some indication on the mini map which direction I'm even facing. Seriously, how many times have you been trying to get back to the enemies and end up flying the wrong way because a triangle isn't specific enough to tell you which direction you are actually facing. On regular maps it's not a problem because you have walls and such to reference. A completely blank map with a triangle in it tells me nothing useful. Reminds me of that Friday the 13th game on the NES. If you haven't played it, it gave you a top down map and no compass or any hint as to the direction you're facing. Basically, you check the map, move a bit in a straight line and check the map again to determine which direction you're facing. Actually, that would be an improvement upon this system. Good job DE, you managed to make an NES game have superior mechanics to archwing.
