It differentiates the Opticor from most other launchers, and it necessitates a bit more planning than otherwise. Instead, I think the Opticor would benefit more from a different charge indicator (a purely visual change). As it is now, the Opticor can fire from about half-charge, depending (maybe?) on RoF mods. The second half of the charge is just how long you have until it will fire automatically. What I propose is that the "charge donut" fills to full when you can fire it, then reverses to empty to show when it will automatically fire. Right now, you sort of have to guess when it's ready to fire, making it slower to use than it could be. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
7grims Posted October 29, 2014 Share Posted October 29, 2014 I don't get why it was made like this. I believe it's not the first weapon with a auto-shoot function, the angstrum did the same thing. But clearly this this function is bad, with all the charge time, and the low mag, it should just stay charged like the bows. Also, considering the TTK/DPS of the gun, even more punch would be welcome. Make it a real "heavy killer". Just saying.^^ EDIT : Could we get a "Ricochet" mod for Opticor?
