---ExcaliburPrime---
I keep hearing that it is but isnt it useless on them considering both smoke and invi give guaranteed crits?
Aket
The Invis stealth crits are different than regular crits and can be critted for crit crits. Yeah.
CY13ERPUNK
you're not going to have smoke/invis up all the time so no, they are not useless
Yorinar
Guide to crits: white = ouch yellow = beat down red = you broke off one of their soul pieces Invis loki/ash gets a fair number of reds with my +crit chance modded ether daggers, but ymmv
fauxhb
+30% of 30% crit chance is too low, to be of any use, imo. if you are talking about the mod, of course.
Korevas
As previously said, stealth hits are not directly connected to crits, you will not get more stealth damage from stacking crit mods. So in essence, they are not exactly useless but obsolete, since you will do far better with charge speed, charge damage, attack speed and/or elemental damage. Darzk
You don't automatically crit while in stealth, you just gain +50% dmg on regular melee and +100% dmg on charged melee attacks, and the numbers turn yellow. If you crit while stealthed, you gain your additional crit multiplier and the numbers turn red. So while +crit chance and +crit damage will give you greater frequency and higher numbers when you crit (red numbers), they wont affect your yellow number (while stealthed) output at all. Better off going with everything else first, then +crit damage if youve got free points.

By stealth if you mean Loki's invisibility ability, I believe Crit damage mods are very useful. (my friend said he put enough crit damage boosters to kill a grineer commander with one charge) Is that true? ---ExcaliburPrime---
So I should go with a melee weapon that already has a good crit chance. Are zoreans still the best when it comes to crit chance? and is it confirmed that Organ shatter doesn't apply to stealth damage?
Shinnyshin
So I should go with a melee weapon that already has a good crit chance. Are zoreans still the best when it comes to crit chance? and is it confirmed that Organ shatter doesn't apply to stealth damage? Honestly, how you play melee Loki/Ash--down to your weapon and mod choices--comes down to how you want to melee. There are plenty of right ways to go about it and only a few wrong ways. Here's the first question you have to ask yourself: do you want to be a charge-attacker or an auto-er? Here's the second: are you a superspeed-up-close or a slower, longer range, devastating swing melee? You really have to answer those questions before you can narrow down what you want. If you just ask what's best, everyone's going to shout their favorite weapon. And there's at least one insanely good loadout/playstyle to match every single answer to the questions I asked. There's only one thing you absolutely 100% always need if you play a melee Loki. It's important for every melee, but especially so for Loki. ALWAYS use a weapon that can hit multiple targets. ---ExcaliburPrime---
I already tried to be a charge attacker and it got boring real fast (dual heat).I'm not a fan of the heavier weapons in this game so super speed for me. How are the ether daggers when it comes to normal attacks? The three attack per animation seems pretty awesome.
Dasmir
The Invis stealth crits are different than regular crits and can be critted for crit crits. Yeah. The mod in self worth nothing, 30% critical is a bad joke

Highly recommend if you like it fast and brutal. Keep in mind they only hit one target, so behave accordingly. I rarely if ever use the charge attack.
