Warframe Concept
 
Senses based Warframe
Name: Neuro
Meaning: The Science that deals with the nervous system (Neuroscience).
 
Average Speed
Average Health
High Armor
High Shield
Slow Shield Recharge
High Energy Ability Cost
 
Health 100 (300 at rank 30)
Power 100 (150 at rank 30)
Armor 100
Shield Capacity 175 (525 at rank 30)
Shield Recharge 15.0
Sprint Speed 1.0
 
Polarities: 
4x Abilties
2x Defensive (Vitality, Redirection)
 
Ability 1: Force
Cost: 25 energy
Description: gains incredible strength giving all melee attacks an additional 10% chance to crit and do 25% extra damage. Lasts 5 seconds.
 
Ability 2: Screech
Cost: 50 energy
Description: lets out an ear piercing screech leaving enemies staggering in pain. (5 sec disorient) SMALL amount of damage dealt.
 
Ability 3: Fog
Cost: 25 energy
Description: conjures a cloud of fog (10 meters?) wide preventing enemies from shooting from outside the fog. Lasts 5 sec.
 
Ability  4: Deprivation
Cost: 100
Description: Enemies within radius permanently lose control of all senses rendering death.
 
Ability 1: Touch
Ability 2: Sound
Ability 3: Vision.
 
Who wants smell and taste powers?
Was my idea of a senses based frame,

Never thought I'd be one of those "Here's an idea for a new Warframe" kinda guys.
Really wasn't thinking of it, just came to me.


Whatcha think? feel free to add some ideas.

EDIT** Changed Shield/Power numbers to scale correctly with level. Changed Energy Costs. Changed Polarity.

Little tips incoming!

As of how Warframes currently are:
The health and shield at level 30 are increased by 200% of the base shields and health.

The power at level 30 is increased by 50% of the base power.

The idea itself is actually quite nice!

The energy requirements for some of the abilities are a little bit weird.

I don't really understand what your last ability does.

Screech is very similar to an ability Banshee currently has.

Screech is very similar to an ability Banshee currently has.

 Yea it needs some work, Like I said I didn't really think about it too long.

The idea for energy requirements was that they were costly, due to the high defensive feel without a huge lack of mobility such as Rhino or Frost I thought it needed some balance. Also the slow shield recharge is part of that balance.

Screech was suppose to resemble Excalibur's Radial Blind more than anything. Kind of an AoE stun/repeated Stagger.

**Edit I should add the idea of this is that a loud disruptive sound can actually make a person pass out. So imagine a Grineer just standing there hands over there ears, just trying not to fall over.

The Uber is just an AoE damage ability. It's simply just enemies nervous system's shutting down which in actuality would result in death.

Thing is, as energy doesn't regenerate (and if it does, with the artifact) and all your abilities are expensive, it's very hard to do some energy management. About everybody got at least one skill that consumes low energy (20-30), like Frost's main freezing ability.

Hmm any suggestions?

Was trying to make it costly because he has high defenses and doesn't have the normal penalty of speed and stamina reduction for it. Just to bring a completely different feel.

Maybe These changes?

 

Ability 1: now costs 25 energy, its not 25% crit chance, it's now an extra 10% crit chance.

Ability 3: now costs 25 energy but doesn't travel with you?
