Gram Not Held The Right Way...

Can you make the frames hold the GRAM by the handle? 

 

it is held with one hand on the handle and one hand on the blade...

It's held that way because the other two heavy melee weapons are an axe and a hammer, which would be held like that. I'm sure it will be fixed once weapons have unique grips animated in.

It's definitelly the time to change the default model from Plasma Sword to a regular two handed heavy sword with long handle :)

That's pretty much how you hold a large sword, actually. Admittedly, it might not be a great idea to do it with a plasma-edged one.

There is more way how to hold a two handed/great sword as there is a reason, why their handle is often so long or it looks like this.

Yet, Gram looks like this... and it shares the model with Plasma Sword, which is just cheap.

That's pretty much how you hold a large sword, actually. Admittedly, it might not be a great idea to do it with a plasma-edged one.

 

You have more kinetic energy at the tip if you swing the sword by the last part of the handle.

 

And for the fight aspect... you have more range if you hold the sword by it's handle, even if the edges stop before the hilt.
