So Is My Kubrow Dead Or What?

Question

Just checked back into the game after a few months of non-action. Before the update that changed the Kubrow's coats, my Kubrow had white fur with a gold lotus pattern. After the update it was some blue-brown mess and I took a break for a few months.

Just got back and now my kubrow is gone entirely. Did she die or something? Or is it a glitch of some sort?

nope, they are the only thing that can really die and yours just did.

just stuck to sentinels.

But I spent good plat on Kubrow mods :(

Edit: I guess a better way to put that is "are Kubrows really worse than Sentinels?"

It's mainly based on personal opinion, but I take the side of Kubrows being better than sentinels.  Kubrows can gain a large shield, armour and health boost if paired with an appropriate warframe (Valkyr, Rhino, Ash) and can deal insane amounts of damage (Mine do 2k damage, 50-60% crit chance and a 5.5X crit multiplier).  They can also be revived so can last longer in missions.  Sometimes the AI can be a bit of a nuisance, but abilities like Sahasas dig, Raksas protect and Huras' hunt out-way the negatives for me.  Also, you can now get Kubrow gene masking palettes, so the apearance is no longer tied to the Kubrow.

With regards to the Kubrow that died, if you take a prolonged hiatus from the game again without having time to place the Kubrow in stasis (internet cuts out, electronics robbed, or just a split decision holiday), then you can contact DE support and they can place it in stasis for you.

No worries, you get to keep the Kubrow mods.

But don't forget to put them on stasis if you're going on a hiatus.

Also, sorry for advertising here, but I guess you're looking for a new dog? lol

What an understatement! :p

I've seen a bucket of smoke acting more intelligent than that S#&$ty dogs...

I concur.

Kubrows are stupidly expensive and they should remove or lower the price for the DNA things.

Newbies will have a huge pain trying to keep their kubrows alive.

I think Kubrows came to be in order to address the question of: "What the hell am I supposed to do with 4 Million credits?". Once a player has maxed out and lvl up by tiers many of the "essential" mods, then there is little to spend credits on. So, Kubrows were not originally meant for "Newbies". I don't get why they lower the DNA stabilizer at all.

Personally, besides the kubrows, only thing I could burn credits in now is transmutation. Which is the has the same cost/benefit ratio of paying a monthly subscription for porn.(aka, just don't do it.) Yes, I know, it's possible to get lucky as I once did. Still not worth it, unless you are the lucky type.
