SquirmyBurrito
You dont play Volt much do you? Melee enemies and AoE damage will go right through the shields. And of course, setting up enough shields to encircle a decently sized area (to avoid splash projectiles) is time and energy cnsuming. Getting rifted and placing one shield to use as a fulcrum for all your attacks as you ignore all damage coming your way is simple. Actually, I do. Melee enemies are easy to deal with. And AoE damage can be handled by placing the shield further away. That depends on the location. In some places it can be handled with just two shields. Getting rifted is completely unnecessary. People were playing perfectly fine before Limbo existed, he didn't suddenly become a necessity.
swihart91
It isn't that he is useless it's that he fills a niche that is filled by a few other frames already have dominance over (aka trinity frost and banshee) and while yes his kit compliments itself wonderfully its the fact you cant really do the damage outside of cataclysm when you are in it that most players see as a weakness and yes it is or that they can only hit the person you choose for them its too much when you are being swarmed in defenses and you cant precisely cast he requires to much thought planning and precision in the game to where he actually becomes useful you cant accomplish this
wolf96781
All frames are inherently useless. It takes a skilled user, with firm knowledge in the frames abilities, as well as their own to properly use any frame, or weapon in any game. air2ground
What's the point in being rifted if you're already using Electric Shield? getting shot in the back, eximus fire blast, enemy cc, can shoot things while swarmed with infested with no fear of retaliation, etc

Use another electric shield. Eximus fire blasts? Duck behind something/roll through it. Enemy CC? What CC? Infested? Use Shock to stunlock them. Or just bring a vauban. The only real reason to bother being in the rift when you have a volt is the extra energy... but a Trinity does that job far better and can insta heal you. Kartumterek
Limbo is an advanced Frame. Too bad he looks like a piece of crap. Hard to take him seriously if you despise looking at him for more than 2 minutes at a time
air2ground
Getting shot in the back? Use another electric shield.Eximus fire blasts? Duck behind something/roll through it. Enemy CC? What CC? Infested? Use Shock to stunlock them. Grenade explosions,Eximus fireblast, bombard explosions, heavy funeral radial blast, impact moa, bounce moa, infested osprey, mutalist moa, fire bombards, all have a have moves that by pass volts shield. I would count all these as enemy cc. Grenade are silent not much you can do to dodge that in less your throwing up shields at least a meter apart all the time and checking you back ever second to make sure enemies don't spawn behind you. Then you want to throw up 2 also a meter apart behind you and every time a mutalist osprey comes you have to leave and reapply your shields as oppose to being rifted and never having to care about anything mentioned above. While shock may stun them it only stuns for about 2 seconds and has a limit of how many it can chain. Since they swarm its a good way to waste energy and not to useful if an ancient pulls you.
