Mkilbride
That part always gets me. As you view the Earth, it's all Green and blue, some desert areas, as now, but overall it looks healthy. On missions, you see large forests and fresh water. The planet to me, looks to be doing quite damn well. Why does it say the Grineer have destroyed it and that it is a "barren wasteland" ? That is covered in trees, grass, water, and wildlife?
Somedude1000
They wrote those descriptions ages ago tbh.. they all need updates

IceDragonofAmber
The Grineer probs have large polluting factories that we just don't visit. Also, those forests are a disease, since they are basically unrecoverable, and seem to keep spreading.
RyojinOrion
Education time! waste·land ˈwās(t)land/ noun noun: wasteland an unused area of land that has become barren or overgrown. synonyms: wilderness, desert; More wilds, wastes, badlands "a desolate wasteland" a bleak, unattractive, and unused or neglected urban or industrial area. plural noun: wastelands "the restoration of industrial wasteland" As for the barren part... You got me there. [EDIT] It doesn't say barren anywhere. It says a desolate, ruined world, which fits fairly well. Latronico
They wrote those descriptions ages ago tbh.. they all need updates This. When they wrote that, Earth was still the center of the Grineer Empire and Vay Hek was still a badass armoured boss. Not a maniac dictator. RyojinOrion
"Ruined" "Barren" Ruined Wasteland would not indicated overgrown, that's what It hink. What are you talking about? The description says "A desolate, ruined world. Home of the oppressive Grineer Empire." It does not say barren there. And yeah, ruined. Take a look at it sometime. You'll notice that everything is in ruin.
(PSN)MoRockaPDX
Still pretty functional description, seeing as the constant growth of super fauna prevents permanent settlement, just makes it a desolate wasteland of another sort.

RyojinOrion
Outdated descriptions are outdated. But in this case, no, not really.
RoboDoge
Wasteland doesnt technically means desert and rocks. I have seen garbage sites overgrown by grey grass.
cs310
In the Future, where Warframe is most certainly set, humanity has fallen, leaving behind a ravaged and unfriendly world, with nature covering up the ruins of "our" civilization. I'd call this post-apocalyptic scenario.
