Daz. Posted October 30, 2014 Share Posted October 30, 2014 As of update 15, all abilities are added to your frame...(can be good or bad). but recently I noticed a lot of zephyrs using Turbulence. This ability is basically Immortality unless using zorens or other strong melee. This power is ruining PvP for me. When sometimes a lot of energy around the map give you instant 150 energy while standing on it. its almost unstoppable to prevent them from not using it. NOT asking for full nerf. We could, for a rather quick start, just decrease the duration of Turbulence (although that would create the same problem with Hysteria). Another one I thought of is having pockets of Turbulence around her, meaning she can still be shot by bullets (hitscan and non-hitscan), but bullets that hit the pockets are deflected instead. The pockets will swirl around her, to provide a bit of a challenge for enemy players (and to protect herself a bit better). The radius of the pockets cannot be changed whatsoever. It looks like the Ash blade storm spam, nothing u can really do about it. Those skills were not designed for PvP, only way is to split the skill in 2, pve version, pvp version. They've done this for a long while now. Keep Pve and pvp seperate are needless, waste of space points. Turbulence should probably get looked at since it is basiclly Hysteria but still able to use long range weapons (and also much longer than Hysteria in PvP). (not intentionally offending or shaming anyone here, just pointing out some facts and giving opinions) Nope, you are invincible to hit scan to, I saw a player empty a full magazine from a Latron Wraith into a Zephyr and hit nothing (and don't say he missed because this was a good player shooting at a Zephyr with Turbulence sitting still). You realize they are already separated? Not only abilities, but mods and weapons have different stats in PvP. This is PvP Feedback so obviously the OP is suggesting a PvP balance. With Power Range+ mods unlocked at the start, Zephyr could as well be a juggernaut just by walking or sprinting (or coptering) close to the shooter, then spam the Melee button for stunlock and kill. Turbulence negates all projectile weapons - and is very difficult to see when this ability is active from afar. I wouldn't argue its broken. Some visual effects to make it more obvious that the ability is active will help me greatly - maybe make it light up the same way Rhinos do when Iron-skin is active. Honestly though, after first night U15 went live, I expected much worse how ever congrats to SFU, your code has been slowly conquering Europe region, and the only players that don't embrace it are the same cheap regulars who never joined a game without reflex guard. Turbulance is broken, more broken then maxed out reflex guard since "shoot them in the back" doesn't work either. I still get days when i get fed up and host with my lovely penta, (marelok for all fair that join) and just wait for them, wait for all of them that think being invulnerable in PvP is funny, or legitimate strategy.
