RickRolld
I am very picky about my games, so I run literally all of my non-Steam games through the program. When I start Warframe on my desktop, it loads right up, no problem. When I list it as a non-Steam game and run it through Steam, The launcher is dominated by a message saying "Warframe cannot be run on this version of Windows; Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later is required." I am running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium, not a version of XP.
Parabellum
Your Steam is probably using a compatibility mode. Right click your Steam.exe, click Properties and click Compatibility. Turn it off and try again.
Gishank
As with most third party games that feature a launcher, it won't run through steam directly (and feature the overlay). You need to point it to the main executable file. C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Warframe\Downloaded\Public Naturally Warframe.exe - 32bit, Warframe.x64 is for 64bit OS.
