Horaciozhao
It really slows down my framerate whenever massive enemy bodies disappear, anyone else?
Judgebanks
I think my frames might dip, but I doubt I notice it. The new disintegrate sucks, visually inefficient and annoying.
Ailith
Oh, so my computer wasn't just randomly having aneurisms? Also, it's especially bad with PhysX enabled. Edited October 31, 2014 by Ailith
Seraphyx
I had the same thought. It can be especially bad in missions where you kill large amounts of enemies. The effects seem a bit too excessive imo. The particles spread out REALLY far just from one corpse, multiply that by 5-10 corpses in the same general area and you can't see crap until it all goes away. It's pretty don't get me wrong... but I think it might need to get toned down a bit. I also noticed some slight performance issues as well. Lycrius
The effect indeed is a bit excessive, took me a moment to realize it was actually the enemies disintegrating and not some new aoe attack or something. Way too loud, way too big and flashy.
GreyEnneract
My computer is top notch, yet when they disintegrate the FPS cuts in half.
TisEric
It seems like a physX issue. Bodies just get obliterated into a billion particles instead of the usual amount. I would assume its a bug from the last hotfix that added those new corpus deaths. Basically it will cripple your CPU from all the particle to process so it would basically half your FPS if not tank lower. Neah
The old blue energy particle death disintegration was much more FPS friendly, and beautiful as well.
Calgacus
Yup +1, not sure why it was changed. I don't think it was needed.

Mahlok
GTX 780 i7 4820k 16gb ram getting below 40 fps when that happens lol, and it's more distracting and annoying than appealing to be very honest.
