I will be updating this quite a bit as I find more things I like. So, the very first thing I want. RAILGUNS. we need them. the maps are so big that full autos are not worth having. next thing I would love to have. Proper rolling controls. I cant find a good video of the game I saw with really similar controls. I'll try and record later some gameplay showing off the controls. Q/E are the rolls and they make flying so much easier to go around corners and make sharp turns. third thing I want an extra jetpack that you can build to make you move a hell of a lot faster for a lot longer. it would be that nice big backpack in the picture. *if you cant tell yet, I like gundams* fourth thing :D a SPEAR. I need it. a spear or a staff, something huge and badass. something bigger though. like huge. fifth thing. a BOW. like BlazingCobalt's design. https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/331838-clustrum-20-archwing-bow-and-arrow/ super awesome (like everything else he makes) it would have to have a lightning fast arrow so that we can actually hit the guys that are TWO THOUSAND meters away from us. true 6 directions shooting and flying. a hud pointer or some other way to see from where you're getting shot at from. larger item vacuum effect. 3d Maping for the Minimap. Sentinels for archwing. -captured Shield ospreys or something cool- A buff to all the Base Damage bonus mods. they are wimpy. I'll be back later with more ideas. latarzanla Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 The bow would need to be of great proportions (to accelerate the "arrows") and the arrows would need some sort of guiding system, 'cause travel time + great distances = no a great combination (would love to see some rocket-arrow launching behemoth of a bow) :D+1 also for the Gundam. paul62626 Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 how about not limiting the mouse view field. if you try to do a full backwards loop you cant. you have to turn around once you hit 90 degrees (facing all the way up) and the best space controls including the roll that your talking about. that i can think of Is Space Engineers. I'm glad you understood what i was saying, couldn't think of the name of it: "FOV limit" imo, the FOV limit makes flying around a lot less fun. because its not a full movement range. with that alone i think flying around will be better, im not so worried about a roll as i am about being able to move freely Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fubukin Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) what i want is: a separate FoV slider for archwing missions (i want a bit of fisheye effect in those missions, but the normal default fov on normal frame missions). true 6 directions shooting and flying. visible arena borders when you get close (not sure if DE implemented that yet though) and a warning, not just a mission abort a hud pointer or some other way to see from where you're getting shot at from. not the cod thing though. a globular map would be better, too, or an option for having either of those map types larger item vacuum effect (maybe through a mod) more fleshed out mods, a bit of a buff. more carry-overs from the warframe you're using, and please get rid of the disparity of elements (some costing less and being weaker etc) sentinels! come on, there's no reason to not have sentinels - or maybe even specific archwing bits / options (as in r-type etc) archwing stalker. more mission nodes, esp a corpus interception more weapons more wings yes, the bow and lance ideas are awesome and i really dont care if this turns out to be gundam or whatever, archwings are so much fun. low1991 Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 what i want from Archwing: 1) a link to normal WF gameplay. 2) a means to use archwing' weaponry in normal gameplay 3) Hellions' homing missile launcher 4) stamina bar (for melee) & archwing boost bar (for flying) should be kept separate. 5) a HUGE-S laser cutter!
