Quick Question About Arcane/statless Helmets, Possibly Conflicting?

Is it not possible to have both helmet versions at the same time? i was in a trade with some fellow who was trading an arcane helmet i was needing to get my hands on but he kept getting the error saying i already had the helmet, when i didn't, but i DID have the statless non arcane version and was wondering if he was glitched, lying, or if they actually conflict with each other.

That sounds like a glitch. I have both versions of the some helmets at the moment. Of course I went beserk, and bought the helmets I was missing, before they were pulled from the market, so I had the Arcane ones, and then crafted the regular ones after that.
