What's Up With The New Alert...?

I've seen these weird orange Grineer lockers (which don't seen to give anything special I've just been getting credit rewards).  I've also seen pumpkins (which turn out to be poison filled (T_T).  Not to mention the ancients have saw arms now and that the place is even more foggy than other maps.  What's special about this event?

Those weird orange grineer lockers are caches, and they give credits and cores, along with rare resources (especially Neurodes).  I've also heard of people getting nightmare mods from them.

 

As for the saws and fogginess, it's Halloween.  Whaddaya expect?

It's a spooky special Halloween alert, and the orange lockers are special loot caches for the alert that give you marginally better loot than regular lockers

well, i't maybe about being lucky too and carry thieves wit.
A really good run net me 32k, ignis blueprint,and 3 R5 fusion cores, detinite INJECTOR and a neurode.
It was one from 10, tho.
Most of them - 1-3 r5, 1-3 U5 and 8k and a neurode.

They give out nightmare rewards?  Wow.... o.O  All I've been getting was credits.

Yep can confirm on the nightmare mods. Got constitution on my second run.
