Advice for leveling a frame with no good attack skills?

 

I have to level up Loki, because it's time to get it over with. I hate Loki but good lord I have to commend you on leveling this frame. He has no skills that can actually kill something that gives the frame itself affinity, you have to rely on team members to feed you affinity, and just revive someone if applicable.

 

Since using warframe skills levels the frame itself up faster than using weapons, I'm at a loss at the moment. He has no way of actually damaging things with a skill to attain the most affinity for the frame, the weapon will get the affinity from the kill in invisibility, but I'm only assuming it's that way. If Invisibility kills count as affinity for the frame, please god let me know.

 

Disarm does miniscule damage and with how the new system is, you can't just upgrade it to max and bring it along, by the time Disarm's impact damage can hurt something, you are already ranked up.

 

ANY ADVICE I KNOW THERE IS 78928309280940 TRILLION LOKI PLAYERS ON HERE WHO KNOW HOW TO DO THIS?

 

I want to level this frame as fast as I possibly can and get it over with, but having to rely on other peoples damage is incredibly boring.

 

I only brought one weapon, no companion, no affinity booster, 25 waves to xini.

 

Only gained 2 levels. I almost fell asleep.

Loki was one of the slower levelling frames. I enjoy playing Loki for his abilities, so it wasn't a problem. If you prefer to play rhino (I'm assuming from your pic) it's going to be a bit of a challenge. All I can recommend is join a group of 3 other competent players, and a nova will actually help you out in this case. :)

Only 4 default profile pictures, Rhino is the only one that doesn't look godawful. I don't play Rhino at all anymore.

 

The playing of the frame isn't the point.

 

Leveling him is really slow because he has no skills to kill things that give him affinity itself, you gain more affinity depending on what you kill with.

 

If I kill with a weapon, I'll get more for said weapon.

If I kill with a frame's skill, I'll get more for said frame.

 

If anyone knows if killing something while invisible gives more affinity to the frame itself than with the weapon used, please let me know.

also i doubt that you can get many kills with any frames if you are leveling it up

Getting kills with frames that actually have skills made for killing with the skill is easy.

 

So the only way to level this frame and get it over with is to let other people kill stuff for me, basically.

For Loki just use 1 wep, melee works best, with disarm spam (not for the dmg but for the effect) and do T4 void missions, also have 4 ppl to get max enimes on some kind of endless mission, this is of course is assuming that you have geed weps to do end game missions. stay together to get max xp. Vauban and nova works well with loki. other than that I don't know any faster ways to level him up. like other ppl have said loki will take time to level but he is worth it.

 

 

 

 

For fun don't use any shields or health mods along with invis (second abality). also have bleed key equiped. abilitys 1,3, and 4 are ok to use.

Are you seriously complaining about Loki's lack of combat capability?

I'm an Ash user, but I also have Loki Prime, and I love playing with that guy. Just slap on an invisibility build and have fun.

Also, his lack of damage abilities is really useful during modding.

A full invisibility build badly affects the range of Radial Disarm and Switch Teleport. However, slapping on Stretch, and Overextended, not only counters this, it has a noticeable positive effect.

Literally, no weaknesses. No sacrifices.

Edit: Just went through the comments, and understood what you're actually asking.

You get affinity not just from damage dealing, but each time you use an ability, you get affinity for it. Honestly, I can't offer any specialized advice here other than to keep playing him.

Well, it used to be easy; just focus on stealth and melee. After update, I guess using long range weapons, playing with Nova (or just a full squad) on some long missions. If you have any friends with Vauban or somebody is hosting xp runs in ODD infested defense is pretty good. Corpus defense with a Frost can work as well. If you have good mods focusing on either stealth or radial disarm will make you very useful in any squad.

You'll get about 50% xp if your weapon kills something. Since loki can't reliably kill with abilities, get a gun that can kill groups efficiently. I used to have a 4-5 forma ignis for this, but recently I've been using a 4 forma Amprex instead. Crowd control weapons are great for leveling frames without offensive powers, I used it for nekros too recently. If you don't have something like that, go melee. Invisibility gives a huge melee damage bonus.

 

Go to a T3 or T4 defense or survival with 4 people, with an invisibility build, remain invisible permanently and just kill as quickly as possible. Take corrosive builds. They're active missions with lots of action, running around if survival, and juicy high affinity corrupted heavy gunners. If you look at the experience mechanics, you'll see that others killing for you gives 25% to your frame, so your own kills are faster than letting others kill for you. Try to kill the most things, prioritize the heavy gunners, but since more players make more enemies spawn, do take a group of 4 regardless.
