Please Change How "out-Of-Bounds" Extraction Works With Archwing Interception

Someone marks a rare mod that seems to float way off. I go to get it, and Lotus tells me that I'm leaving the battlefield, and to return. So, I turn around and head back. Not more than 3 seconds later, I'm being automatically extracted, and fail the mission, losing everything. I didn't even have a chance to get back. It seems that I get the warning message when I'm already too far, and the boundaries of the level are not obvious at all. (Moreover, why would something be allowed to float that far outside the bounds of the mission in the first place??) This really needs to be adjusted - makes for so much lost time, items, xp, etc.

Forgot to mention, also had this issue while trying to get to the last bad guy after a wave.. Got booted from the mission for the same boundary "violation", and the guy was still 3km away stuck behind an asteroid..

I think the moment you step outside the boundary, something should pop up saying how far outside you've gone, and/or a timer should show up to show you how much time you have left to get back inside the boundary. Both would be ideal in my opinion.

Have to agree.  I've had enemies on an exterminate that, according to the minimap, were out of bounds.  The guy I was playing with got out of bounds extracted and then I did as well trying to follow the map to find the last 3 enemies.  I may have been reading the map wrong (looked like there were some fair sized floating asteroid rocks where I was headed, though), but some extra care to ensure enemies (that are literally the objective, in the case of exterminate) don't go out of bounds would be appreciated.

Had another mission where I was flying around an asteroid kiting enemies - not 50m away from the asteroid I got auto-extracted.

So a better warning system may be helpful.  Perhaps some small to moderate size arrows pointing you back towards in bounds and a bit more time before it auto-fails the mission on you.  Or instead of removing people from the mission, perhaps change it to automatically turn them around and fly them in bounds?  A lot of combat flight games use that mechanic.

Rescue missions were changed to allow reviving the npc you escort because (at least for my end) instant auto fails in the middle of a mission are quite irritating.  With so little warning on auto-extract in archwing missions, it gives much of the same feeling of old rescue where you could just randomly lose the mission at almost any time.
