Limbo (And Warframe) Lore Question

So I recently finished the Limbo Theorem quest and upon completion Ordis says something along the lines of "Limbo died because he screwed up a rift walk, hopefully when you 'occupy this frame you will be more careful'" which seems to say that each original warframe was used by a unique individual and based on their aesthetic/personality/gender but then later was copied by other tenno.

 

Is this then the answer to whether or not each warframe is an individual or each tenno is an individual using many warframes? Or has that question already been answered by the devs/in some other bit of lore?

I always supported the "unique frames custom made for specific Tenno, corresponding to their personalities/former human forms, then copied by today Tenno, because the technology to create a frame for each Tenno was lost with the Orokin" theory. But again, just one of many theories...

I hope they don't change it TOO much, we finally have a solid piece of evidence that can work for anyone in whatever way they want to play their characters.

thanks for the information i didnt knew that ... they only announced a vague solution with "most of you wont expect the answer to this" and nothing more i think in dev stream 38-39 somewhere

In the reddit AMA, one guy said his personal theory was that the tenno were a brain and a spine getting swapped from suit to suit, and Steve said "close". So who knows.

It is already in the Forums. That lore is going nowhere now.
