Basilo
There are some times when I'll be firing at the quanta or penta rangers and instead of white/yellow number popping up, I'll get blue 0s for seconds at a time. I've noticed this on both solo and public matches when I'm host, but I'll have to double check to see if it happens when I'm client. Edit: It can happen as client as well, and I just encountered it on a standard ranger. Edited November 3, 2014 by Basilo
FlightyBroad
perhaps it's something like hitting the helmets on a corpus crewmen? That's my best guess
Basilo
I'm dealing several hundred damage per shot typically, so I don't think armor would stop that completely. Anyways, the helmets on corpus crewmen have never given me 0 damage with a blue number once their shields were drained. Heck, I don't think they've ever given me 0 damage with any colored number. CelsiusPrime
happens to me all the time any time that I attack any archwing enemies. I will get 2 to 4 "0"s before I appear to start doing damage. I feel like I am doing damage when it shows 0 but I can' t tell for sure. all my 0s are blue
Kthal
Archwing weapons (or the Imperator at least) suffer from damage dropoff, it could be caused by that combined with lag.
Basilo
I get close to 100 fps on my archwing missions, and I have confirmed it to only happen when I hit the helmets. Which raises the question: why are you punishing people for headshots? As I said, I have never encountered a standard crewman helmet that completely stops damage, so why do the ranger helmets stop it? Also, given how specific this is, I'm starting to get the feeling that this isn't a bug. Edited November 3, 2014 by Basilo
