MEEBOSS
I don't think I have died more in this game than after limbo came to the game. I mean really. I can go days without needing to be revived or dying in a solo anything mission. Now here comes a defense mission with limbo in it and he puts up the big Cataclysm bubble and now I can't see, I can't pick up anything, I can't damage enemies unless I am also in the bubble. So level 40 enemies are all over the cryopod and I can't kill them. As a result we loose or I die because I am shooting at an enemy that I can't hurt and other enemies are shooting me from 5-10 different angles or others die and then we loose because the pod gets destroyed while we are trying to revive someone. Rinse and repeat. Then you get the guy who thinks its funny to use Limbos power on you and then again you can't do any damage or pick up any objects. is it just me or what? Trowicia
Limbo's a tricky frame to actually use without doing any harm to the mission's progression. A lot of Limbo users probably don't mean to cause any problems, that's something more on DE's part they need to touch up on.

Xirka
Not once. Though, I usually play nova or Nyx, and AMD and absorb seem to kill things regardless of being banished or not. Edited November 5, 2014 by Xirka

Anatolius
I havent died but my friend REALLY REALLY likes to pluck my nerves by banishing lesser hostile enemies right before I attack them or banishing me and i just stand there, just soaking up energy but that is just an inconvenience thing
Cannamancer
People will troll, get use to it lol. Not every Limbo player seeks to sew disharmony and troll, in the right and capable hands Limbo can be a huge advantage on the field. If you don't know how to play him correctly you shouldn't play him, but other frames do it also Loki, Valkyr and Vauban can troll so can Nova. It's the player not the frame lol. While your logic is logical, asking this community to discipline themselves beyond pressing 4 is an impossible task in itself. That pretty much covers about 90% of people, and lets face it, the learning curve on limbo is much higher than other frames.

Xeo_Nespydonum
If nothing else, DE needs to give Banish a cancel for non Limbo's.
fatpig84
Just keep pressing 4. If a Limbo banishes you just keep pressing 4. Help them level faster so they spend less time bothering you ya ?
Hatzeputt
Well from my perspective Limbo trolling or bad Limbo play styles have toned down considerably since when the Limbo causes the mission to fail they also get jack so after shooting themselves in the foot several times wasting everyones and most importantly their own time the majority of Limbo players has learned it seems. Liminal
My experience with him has been many players ranking up lv0 Limbos in Sechura, standing on a tree shooting down, out of harm's way. Only 1 in at least 10 tried to 4 the pod, but Old Man Vauban meant it didn't matter. I've yet to see one that vanishes his mates to restore energy though :( Edited November 5, 2014 by The_Doc
npc15
I play limbo alot also started a page on things to improve on in the future as far as his powers go but the way i do it is if there is a caster frame like saryn pressing 4 alot ill banish that person so they are in god mode get faster energy gain and can spam 4 same with a vauban and it seems im the only one that banishes every one and puts a cataclysm over the pod so everyone can stand outside the bubble and can shoot in rift walk + stand outside cataclysm = every one gets god mode and then i unbanish every one at the end of the round so everyone can pick up items of course i wont do this if there are no caster in the lobby with me. but yes trolling can be bad if someone wanted to but ive not come across anyone thats done it yet. Archistopheles
I cringe when I place my cataclysm incorrectly. This is why I build anti-duration, so any mistakes are over quickly.
Malikon
Not a single time! I main as Ember and a Limbo has in fact saved my bacon on numerous occasions. On others he just turned me into an immortal deathmachine hellbent on reaping souls. Limbo for President.
Davoodoo
I dont like how this frame is designed. Its too many timers, timer upon timer upon timer and each of buffs is required to play it properly. So you need to use surge to max your dps, sure ok. But you also need riftwalker, 2 timers already. Want to dmg enemies now?? cataclysm, 3 timers. If you want your teammates to also dmg them another 3 timers. If somehow any enemy steps out you get another timer in form of banish. 6 timers + 1 for each enemy out of cataclysm... Why does de hates their players so much that they put frame which is 100% dependant on efficiency, duration and ffs ultra rare natural talent to even start playing, then playing properly is just stupidly hard and requires some extra range mods and tbh that dmg boost is not that impressive. Yeah limbo, do nothing, youre better off that way. 1)Add small aoe to banish, make duration shorter, 3seconds base should be plenty, so you can quickly catch enemies running from cataclysm and not troll allies. 2)Change riftwalk into toggleable with 1 energy drain per 5 seconds, remove casting animation completely, core class mechanic shouldnt cost anything. 3)Double duration on surge. 4)Add ability to cancel cataclysm. Done, limbo would actually be fun to play. Edited November 5, 2014 by Davoodoo
REDHOOOD
My solution: counter Limbo with Vaub - Bounce him away, cast vortex right on top of him and blow up all those "exploding mobs" - then ask him to stop or you won't revive. seriously, its like PvP in PvE... Keep in mind this is all happening while hordes of infested are attacking.
