Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 (edited) One of the most significant improvement in the game, the Air Dash Melee maneuver was overshadowed by Archwing and the many goodies we got on U15. But in my opinion the Air Dash is the best thing that happened to the game in a while. On a side note, this simple maneuver gave new life to the Conclave game play, as some of you might know i am a avid Conclaver, and if any dev out there read through the PvP Feedback section, you know that Conclavers have been complaining about the Parkour nerf since U14. So that's a good thing, a awesome new way to move around the map efficiently other than coptering and wallrunning. The only issue i found with this new maneuver, is that you cannot Copter after you Air Dash. You can connect a Air Dash after you Copter, but not the other way around. You have to wait until you completely finish the animation, touch the ground, or connect a Wallrun before you can Copter. I don't know if that's intended, if it is, you might want to reconsider. Also i found a annoying little bug that others may have noticed. Sometimes after you Air Dash, your weapon is sheathed, and after you finish the animation, you are holding a phantom weapon. Syzodia Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 False. You can slide after an air attack; there's just a little longer delay before you can slide. The other thing is that the direction you slide in is affected by where you aim. So aiming upwards will cause you to just stop midair and "slide" down, but aiming forwards will do your usual pre-copter slide. To copter.....well, just melee while air sliding as usual, duh. Point is, to copter after an air attack, you need to "finish" your air attack first. Meaning you need more air time, whether that'd mean higher elevation angles or just air attacking off a ledge/cliff/plateau. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
