Beginner Questions

1.How do you destroy a kubrows den? i beat on it for 5 minutes and never hurt it. google came up with nothing

 

2.the light on my weapon does the enemy see it? cause i get seen while crouched and nothing around me.

 

3.how do you unnock an arrow? i dont want to fire it when ther eis noone around. and arrow ammo seems to never drop so i need to save them.

You just have to hit it really hard.

 

What weapon were you using?

You should be able to take it down with your regular weapons. Placing your cursor over a den will reveal a health bar.

 

Try restarting your client. If the issue persists, you may wish to take your situation to the Bugs section of this forums.

You shoot at it or melee it, do you have the damage increasing mods on such as pressure point, hornet strike or serration ?

1) You should be able to damage it with any weapon. If you're using a bow, try charging it up (Keep the fire button pressed until the circle is full). Better try your melee weapon as it does not consume ammo.

 

2) Enemys generally spot you very easily. This shouldn't have something to do with your weapons (Although firing a non-silent weapon will alert them of your position). But I have to admit,  I've never tried crouching to hide from view. Better stand around the corner.

 

3) If you have charged up a shot, you can put away your arrows by pressing the reload button. Otherwise you can put them back by using a skill or by rolling/dodging

For Kubrow dens, melee weapons are best, and a multihit one is the top of the heap as you'll kill the emerging kubrows as well as damage the den in the process.

 

For concealment, or to get out of the line of fire to recharge shields, going round the corner or behind a pop up box in the void is best, or a pillar, anything you can stand behind to break line of sight. Just as you can see an enemy crouching behind a railing or other low cover, they can see you. Just something to live by, if you can see them, they can see you. Crouching behind cover will however make you a bit harder to hit from a distance, unless there is a sniper mob in the mix.

 

Any weapon that has the ability to charge a shot, like the bows, Ogris, sniper rifles, to return to ready position without firing is just use the reload key, that is all. Good Luck and happy gaming.
